Position Title: Accountant
Job Summary: To be responsible for managing and providing timely and accurate financial information, maintain financial records, prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with government regulations. You will work closely with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of data and information
• Prepare full set of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Help to manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
• Prepare tax returns (GST) and other statutory filings
• Help to develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures where necessary
• Liaise with external auditor, tax agent and authorities
• Handle other ad-hoc financial and accounting tasks as and when required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA Part 3 or equivalent
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting regulations and standards
• Proficient in accounting software such as MYOB advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
