Job Description

The Research Fellow (Postdoc) will conduct research in the field of coastal dynamics, in terms of coupled CFD model on wave-current-seabed interaction and their impact on different shoreline types, e.g. beach, mudflat, mangrove regions. Numerical simulations and experiments will be conducted. The coupled CFD model will include the following new features:

• Wave-current-storm surge interaction modelling and water inundation prediction.

SIFBI seeks to appoint a Principal Investigator in area of sensory physiology. The appointed Principal Investigator is expected to lead a research team to conduct experiment-based original research in some specific topic areas on the physiology of sensation and perception in relation to aroma, taste, and/or texture, in order to reveal underlying principles and mechanisms of sensory perception and establish novel methodologies/techniques for the characterization and quantification of sensory attributes, based on both instrumental investigations and human studies. The Singapore National Eye Centre/Singapore Eye Research Institute (SNEC/SERI), in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to take on a significant role in this exciting and rapidly developing research group.

• Perform data analysis, image processing and modelling on novel ocular imaging data;
