The Duke-NUS Laboratory for Translational and Molecular Imaging (LTMI), Duke-NUS Medical School, is recruiting a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow to lead state-of-the-art small animal imaging studies in Viral Infectious Disease. LTMI aims to develop local infrastructure and deep capabilities in the development of molecular imaging technologies for guiding the advancement and translation of new imaging biomarkers to guide novel therapeutics in viral infectious disease.

The successful candidate will lead pre-clinical imaging efforts to validate novel imaging probes that target potential biomarkers of viral infection and host response. He/She will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution and communication of research. The Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders (CVMD) Programme houses state-of-the-art technologies for profiling mitochondrial function and metabolic adaptations in human patients and other model organisms, and undertakes translational and clinical research in cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.

Prof Derek Hausenloy’s laboratory aims to discover new treatments for protecting the heart from acute ischaemia/reperfusion injury and for preventing heart failure. Compliance Processing Officer

Summary:

This role is supporting the company’s compliance program and services, including Halal Conversion and Management, Training, and Inspection/Audits. These positions require a combination of independent project work, compliance monitoring, and client-facing activities. Responsibilities include performing periodic audits, investigations, and hands-on service delivery, while also contributing to service development through a mix of on-the-job learning and formal training.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed audit and investigation reports that highlight areas of non-compliance and associated risks.
• Document all compliance activities using designated checklists and databases according to company policies and workflows.
• Conduct timely follow-ups with clients, close audits efficiently, and ensure findings are resolved.
• Perform compliance audits and monitor various Halal operations.
• Maintain and organize both electronic and hard copy files and records.
• Prepare and process documents for submission to relevant authorities, ensuring timeliness.
• Continuously engage and communicate with clients and authorities as necessary for applications.
• Monitor audit activity schedules and provide thorough follow-up, including reviews of client corrective actions.
• Provide administrative support and contribute to project committees.
• Communicate proactively with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to gather feedback and information.

Job Responsible:

• Prepare and conduct lessons: Tailor lessons in accordance with our curriculum with a holistic understanding of your student’s learning needs to meet the unique needs and learning styles of individual students.
• Curriculum Development: Work with our curriculum development team to create useful learning materials.
• Motivation: Inspire and motivate students to excel academically and develop a love for learning. Be a role model for your students. Give appropriate advice to students to improve students’ holistic development.
• Communication: Monitor your class progression and provide honest and helpful feedback with suggestions to parents on a regular basis to improve the student’s conduct or academic performance.

Administrative:

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials

Requirement:

• Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience with Singapore MOE syllabus.
