Chronic unresolved inflammation is a key pathogenic feature of prevalent inflammatory disorders and related syndromes that together are predicted to affect close to 60 million people with an annual cost of $90B. As such, the global anti-inflammatory therapeutic market is in urgent need for new targets for therapeutic intervention.

The Ho lab at Duke-NUS is building a platform to mine the human genome for novel determinants of the inflammatory response. We are seeking an experienced researcher who will participate and drive the execution of this platform in collaboration with other senior members of the team. The selected candidate will be expected to work at the bench as well as manage some aspects of the project such as administration of documentation required for smooth operations. Successful completion of the project will lead to opportunities for transition to industry roles. Candidates with strong technical ability and expertise in inflammation biology, and who are interested in taking discoveries from the lab through to commercialization are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project.

The Duke-NUS Laboratory for Translational and Molecular Imaging (LTMI), Duke-NUS Medical School, is recruiting a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow specialising in Nuclear Imaging within the Immuno-Oncology domain.

• Support the maintenance of donor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, including working with Vendors for enhancements on any system.
• Process donations received and work with internal stakeholders in the administration of donations and ensuring compliance with charity governance and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare Management Reports to evaluate effectiveness of fundraising campaigns or impact of donations. Ensure timely submissions of reports to Program Sponsors.
• Work with Marcomms team to develop marketing and publicity materials to support fundraising initiatives and to promote YWCA’s outreach events.

Membership Relations

• Manage the membership lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and renewals of membership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members to continuously improve member experience.
• Manage communication with members, review membership applications and maintain the accuracy of the membership database.
• Enhance member benefits and services that add value to the membership experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing memberships, donations or fundraising, or other equivalent role in support events administration.
• Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong aesthetic and communication, including knowledge of online design tools to develop publicity materials.
• Able to work in evenings / weekends to support fundraising / membership events.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence in engaging at all levels.
• Well organised and meticulous.
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks effectively.
• Confidence in handling databases and generating reports.
• Hands-on and possess high initiative in following through.
• Strong team player who is able to self-direct her work independently.
