We are seeking to recruit a proactive and motivated research assistant to join the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at the National University of Singapore (NUS) launched on 5 September 2024, the first of its kind in Asia to advance research in alternative proteins. Led by experts from NUS and research institutes in Singapore, the Centre aims to drive global food security and accelerate regional innovation. The focus will be on microalgae research and biomass fermentation, to produce high-quality, affordable, and sustainable microbial proteins from microalgae and biomass fermentation that can be further developed into cultured meat and plant-based protein hybrids. Microbial proteins will be cultivated through fermentation and processed using emerging bio-physical techniques for effective biotransformation, to improve digestibility, flavour, and nutritional profile. As a research assistant, you will assist with conducting and monitoring microalgal cultivation bioprocesses via analytical techniques to achieve maximal product titres, yields, and rates. Job Description

The NUS Centre for International Law (CIL) is accepting applications for Research Associate for its Energy Law and Policy Programme (ELP). The ideal candidate would be interested in working on globally-oriented energy governance issues with a regional focus, particularly topical issues of a cross-cutting nature. CIL encourages its research staff to develop independent and joint research within its areas of focus. Candidates with interdisciplinary research experience/perspectives are encouraged to apply.

In addition to conducting research, the Research Associate (RA) is expected to assist in planning and organising international and regional conferences, workshops and training courses for government officials; and to be involved in drafting background papers and/or reports for such events.

In the case of cross-cutting issues, the RA is expected to collaborate with other research teams within CIL to ensure efficient and effective research outcomes. He/ She is also expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal knowledge base as well as efforts to keep the CIL website and other research-related social media platforms up to date.

• Improve device stability of highly efficient perovskite solar cell through material and device innovation
