We are currently seeking highly-motivated, passionate Tour Operations Officer to help our customers fulfil their travel aspirations and materialise their travel plans by understanding their requirements and work closely with them to create personalised, seamless itineraries. The goal is to provide quality travel experiences to keep our customers delighted and loyal for future services.
Tour Operations Officer
The Tour Operations Officer manages all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support.
He/She is service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills, able to address any vendor management issues. He/She is able to think clearly in emergencies and ensures smooth tour operations in accordance with schedules/itineraries.
Job Description
ยท Liaise with service providers (such as airlines, land operators, hotel) and sending reservation requests to service providers
ยท Monitor ticketing deadline and air tickets issuance, GDS tickets stock requisitions
ยท Interaction with suppliers and business partners to settle and finalize logistical requirements for outbound tour groups
ยท Take note of special requests for seat preferences and dietary restrictions
ยท Generate Group Sales (GS) and budget costing.
ยท Generate Exchange Order (EO) to make payment to airlines and operators
ยท Handle any operations-related enquiries and assist Sales Team when required.
ยท Creation of tour type and tour code using in-house travel system
ยท Issue travel documents to customers
ยท Provide information, quotations and assistance during destination travel events, if required.
ยท Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
ยท Minimum 2 yearsโ experience in a travel & tourism company
ยท Good command of English & Chinese to deal with overseas business partners.
ยท Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
ยท Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
ยท Excellent command of Microsoft Office (World, Excel, Outlook) applications and computing skills
ยท Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
ยท Must be team oriented, extremely motivated, and able to work independently
ยท Knowledge of of CRS, GDS and CRM system (Airline booking system) is an advantage
ยท Experience of working in an operational or customer service role in the travel industry is preferred
