Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage component repair team manpower, scope, budget, and technical execution across a variety of product lines with a focus on developing repairs, reviewing RSS/PCN packages, and dispositioning departure records
• Accountable for monitoring and communicating repair project status, business issues, and significant developments as appropriate within and outside the cross-functional team
• Work collaboratively with design, product support and other engineering teams along with shop productivity leaders to formulate technical solutions and strategies that align with short and long term business objectives
• Lead or support root cause/corrective action efforts in response to development and on-going process learnings
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the team’s assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with Engineering, Quality and Services policies
• Lead and facilitate regular communication of technical and business information between organizations, within the work group and with senior business leaders.
• Ensure company compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented within the sections.
• Conduct performance appraisals and participate in salary planning
• Promote professional growth through timely performance feedback and coaching
• Apply Lean principles for team operations and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in a design, product support or repair engineering role or in Aerospace Products
• Minimum Degree in engineering field from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of FAA/ EASA regulation for repair Engineering
• Experience integrating engineering with shop business and technical objectives

Job:

• Review, analyze and transform new business/user requirements into IT system/functional requirement.
• Lead SAP and EDI project implementation and handover to IT helpdesk.
• Serve as point of contact for internal/external business users.
• Manage 3rd party vendor for outsourced projects.
• Develop and review systems specifications, test plans, test results, technical documentation, and lead computer system validation (CSV) exercise according to corporate standards and guidelines.
• Ensure the solution delivered is properly tested and meet specifications and timeline from development to deployment. Support unit testing, SIT, UAT effort and resolve technical issues when required.
• Providing technical support, good services and timely response to clients and internal users, including preparation of user manual and conduct training.
• Improve the productivity of existing processes with IT systems.
• Internal and external audit handling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent.
• Possess at least 3 years’ experience in SAP and EDI system implementation and support role.
• Preferably worked in 3PL, Supply Chain, Logistics or service environment before.
• At least 3 years’ experience in IT project implementation, direct interaction with clients/customers, business users etc.
• Well verse with SQL commands.
