Job Description:

1. Ensure the smooth operations of all the outlets so they meet or exceed; revenue sales targets, customer satisfaction targets and that the outlets are clean, safe and well maintained

2. Ensure the outlets managers and teams are following company guidelines and procedures, operating efficiently and are staying within the parameters and budgets set in place and meeting their KPI’s.

3. Develop communication channels between the outlets and different departments to build a strong team environment to ensure smooth operations and achieve the outlets goals and targets

5. Streamline operations wherever possible to achieve sales revenue target

As a Operations Program Manager, your role purpose is to:

• Manage and implement specific Network Operations programs and projects, to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and to the agreed specification resulting in a positive impact on operations performance.
• Be the regional process owner and subject matter expert providing support, training and guidance to countries on key business processes
• Play a key role to identify, champion, develop and coordinate change requests on Ops process and operations toolkit, service quality, operational efficiency and operational cost improvement ensuring that performance meets Customer (internal and External) and Network expectations.

Key tasks include:

• Participate in Global workgroups and Program Boards in support of the achievement of the Program’s goals
• Gather and define business requirements including changes to current processes and applications to ensure business needs are met and enhanced.
• Lead and manage the development of solutions that meet the Program goals and/or change requirements. This will include multiple work-streams and projects.
• Provide specialist Ops process and Ops toolkit support and leadership to regional operations in the resolution of process, systems and service performance issues including the introduction of improved work practices
• Contribute in the development implementation of solutions ensuring appropriate operational process review and training
• Develop and drive the change management process with country teams to move from legacy to target operations business processes
• Communicate, interface and work with the respective groups/ stakeholders to achieve the defined goals.
• Develop a deployment strategy to ensure a smooth deployment to all countries
• Set up the project and relevant project organisation with the project manager. Provide steering, direction and motivation for effective project management to ensure programs/projects are completed on time, within budget and to the agreed specifications.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent, preferably in a business, engineering, transportation and/ or project management-related discipline
• More than 5 years of experience with at least 2 years as a project manager
• At least 2 years of industrial engineering or process engineering experience
• Ideally previous experience gained with DHL with a comprehensive knowledge of the DHL Express network
• Familiar with Express Global SOP process
• Good understanding of transportation, express, import and export operations and regulations in the region
• Preferably have worked on Automation programs (like SATS, LT1, MHS Related Experience)
• Well-developed project/ process management, prioritising and analytical skills with strong business acumen
• Proven ability in report writing: able to prepare analytical reports highlighting and interpreting key business information

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and data privacy laws.
• Develop and maintain robust compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and address any noncompliance issues.

Fraud Prevention:

• Develop and implement advanced fraud prevention strategies, including rule-based systems, machine learning models, and behavioural analytics.
• Investigate and analyse fraudulent transactions to identify patterns and improve prevention measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud detection and prevention capabilities.

Operational Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks that could impact the company's business operations, financial performance, or reputation.

 Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and manage a team of risk professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
