As the Manager, Informatics, you will support the development of EGH’s technology adoption strategies and intelligent systems to meet the future hospital’s operational needs. By researching emerging technologies and overseeing test-bedding and integration testing, you will drive the adoption of innovative solutions in Healthcare Living Lab (HLL).

You will also be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the HLL, engaging, and managing stakeholders, and evaluating projects for technical, financial, and operational feasibility. A key part of the role involves preparing annual budgets, establishing performance benchmarks, and prioritising projects to optimise resource allocation. Additionally, you will play a critical role in building team capabilities by fostering skills such as agile project management and design thinking, empowering your team to deliver impactful projects effectively.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computing Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with exposure at management level, and at least 4 years in software programming, systems engineering, or technology integration
• A team player with excellent planning, analytical and communication skills
• Possess critical thinking skills and willingness to think outside the box
• Strong ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders effectively in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
• Good knowledge of front-end and back-end systems or product designs
• Familiarity with quick prototyping tools e.g. Unity, wireframing, SolidWorks
• Familiarity with management of engineering collaboration platforms e.g. Slack/GitHub
• Proven track record and hands-on experience in areas such as:

Robotic Platforms

• Familiarity with software development on/with robotic platforms, SLAM, or related fields.
• Experience in the following is preferred:

1. Robot Operating System (ROS), ), RoMi-H, Gazebo, Unity, Linux, OpenCV
2. Robotics perception, LIDAR, object tracking, motion planning, machine learning, sensor fusion and system engineering
3. Embedded and real-time systems
4. Algorithm development in C/C++, Python. Unix shell scripting

• Accountable for the successful management of assigned key accounts.
• Lead, oversee, and coordinate operations for export/import order fulfillment as the primary point of contact.
• Supervise, recruit, and train staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure shipments are carried out accurately and on time, following the agreed SOP and KPI.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize business share.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of SOPs aimed at enhancing operational efficiency through system automation or process simplification, thereby reducing potential risks.
• Establish and uphold guidelines and best practices to minimize shipment compliance risks.
• Ensure full adherence to Singapore Customs Regulations.
• Monitor departmental budget controls and ensure optimal use of resources, including facilities, system applications, personnel, and related data.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in procurement in Logistics Business
• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related discipline
