Job scope

• Perform daily and month end checks on data in Risk Data including updates of reconciliation reports.
• Follow-up and resolve reconciliation breaks.
• Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as risk reporting and engines users as well as front office users to elicit and validate business requirements.
• Lead and manage issues, and ensure all requirements have proper traceability.
• Leverage the subject matter experts across technology and business in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
• Become an effective “bridge” between users and technology.
• Participate in Risk Data Production tools and capabilities improvement enhancement.
• Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or any equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in Business Analyst role.
• Good to have experience working in banking or financial industry
• Well versed in MS Office: Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

About the Role

Based in Singapore we are seeking a Market and Trading Analyst to provide analytical and commercial support to LNG, Liquids, shipping and new energy transactions. In addition, this role is to support bespoke marketing business led project opportunities which include but may not be limited to LNG import terminal assessments, LNG Tanks utilization and access to new markets.

Key accountabilities include:

* Apply thinking in area of expertise - deliver plans and work as directed and in alignment with the company’s strategy
* Understand change and performance mindset and participates to achieve desired culture outcomes
* Contribute to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies as directed
* Acquire a working knowledge of the global and domestic LNG and liquids markets
* Provide analytical support to logistics (tankers and LNG vessels) to aid decisions support
* Support economic decisions on pricing and contract negotiations through application of economic modelling and value-based analysis
* Support marketing and trading lead new market activities such as receiving terminals
* Support development and implantation of Marketing & Trading digital solutions.

About You
To stand out in this role, we are looking for professionals with ability to work on multiple tasks within challenging timeframes and has the following essential experience:

* Previous experience in LNG and or liquids preferable
* Proven economic modelling skills and experience preparing and presenting material to senior managers

Ideally, you have tertiary qualifications in a numerate discipline such as engineering, economics, finance, or commerce and/or relevant work/industry experience

Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of dashboarding capabilities for audit, compliance, and service management reporting
• Promote enhancement of IT controls, processes, and security measures
• Implement initiatives and tools to analyse trends and provide oversight on compliance matters
• Improve effectiveness of update, tracking and reporting of compliance status
• Develop IT compliance guides
• Conduct briefing/awareness campaigns on IT compliance requirements, policies, and best practices.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and policy/ compliance-related assessments
• Monitor and report on status and issues
• Perform internal checks to evaluate effectiveness of IT controls
• Provide support to ad-hoc administrative, comms or operational work that may arise

Qualifications/ Qualities:

• Minimum Diploma in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Analytic tools (e.g. MS Power BI, Power Automate etc.) for dashboarding, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
• Experience in coordinating workstreams and tasks undertaken by functional teams within IT division and beyond, collating returns and performing reasonable analysis.
