• Position: Network & Security Network Engineer
• Well Established Singapore Based IT Service Provider

Main Responsibilities:

• Project implementations / migrations / maintenance support on various products of focus such as:

1. Wireless network, switches and routers (Cisco or HPE / Aruba / Ruckus switches implementations with multiple VLANs and routing, wireless implementation with Cisco, Aruba or Ruckus)
2. Other products (Bluecoat Proxy, RSA server, MS Radius Server, Aruba Clearpass, Aruba Airwave, Nessus, Solarwinds, PRTG)
3. Firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Watchguard, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Juniper with IPSEC / site to site VPN, UTM features such as antispam / antivirus, IPD / IDS, content filtering
4. Basic Windows Server implementation with AD, DHCP and DNS
5. MS Azure network configuration

• Perform 24/7 software maintenance support standby on rotation basis.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT project implementation and support exposure in System Integrator.

• ensure at all times that fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with;
• supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works in the premises;
• ensure at all times that the occupant load of any part of any building does not exceed the capacity prescribed under the Fire Code;
• conduct daily checks within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any fire hazard that is found within the premises;
• prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises and distribute the Emergency Response Plan to the occupants of the premises; (ii) conduct fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner;
• ensure that all occupants are familiar with the means of escape located within the premises;
• prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants of the premises; train, co-ordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in first-aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• train the occupants in the premises in first aid, firefighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• co-ordinate and supervise the occupants within the premises in firefighting and in evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• supervise the operation of the Fire Command Centre in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• conduct at least 2 Table-Top Exercises within the premises each year and to evaluate, together with the Fire Safety Committee, the effectiveness of the Arson Prevention Plan and the Emergency Response Plan for those premises;
• prepare and implement the Arson Prevention Plan for the premises;
• notify the Commissioner immediately upon the occurrence of any fire incident in the premises;
• organise campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the occupants within the premises in establishing a fire safe environment;
• carry out such other duties as the Commissioner may require.

• Carry out regular building inspection according to Quality Control Procedures
• Carry out regular inspection on tenanted premises and tenanted buildings according to Authority requirements
• Prepare reports and summary of inspection to respective FOMs and the authority
• Liaise with BCA, or other agency on building issues / clarification when required
• Provide technical advices on solution / proposal / cost estimate to the site operation team & project management team when required

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Building Services /Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of relevant experience in Building Maintenance; Construction Projects as Quantity Surveyor or Building Inspector
• Certificate on Building Inspection / Façade Inspection is advantageous

Job Description:

• Perform environmental control/enforcement support to the team.
• Monitor and verify that environmental impacts are kept to a minimum during the planning and design and construction phases of the project.
• Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme and Site Environmental Control Reports to the Occupier of the construction site.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities.
• Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the Occupier of the construction site.
• Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards.
• Any other duties /responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Job Description

The Technician will:
• Carry out all emergency repairs to all technical equipment related to the individual’s skill and experience level.
• Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring programs.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance to all plants and equipment based on skill and experience level.
• Control and monitor all Engineering supplies and assist in inventory procedures.
• Assist in the administration of the department by completing the necessary forms, documents, log books, and computer print-outs in a timely and accurate manner as directed.
• Do preventive and overhaul maintenance.
• Review daily log book, rectify or follow up on all items left unsolved from any previous shifts, and discuss the same with the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer.
• Be responsible for the correct operation of the physical plant and all Engineering facilities of the entire property in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance program, and operation schedule.
• Undertake all necessary repairs in his section ensuring maximum utilization and minimum breakdown of assigned equipment.
• Be responsible for writing on the backside of work order, assumed reason for breakdowns/replacements.
• Give daily Associate reports to the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer.
• Keep the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer informed of inoperative equipment, the progress of work, possible delay, job performance, issues, discipline, and any discrepancies within his crew.
• Keep a close watch on spare parts/supplies required and advises Supervisor/ Chief Engineer of reordering in advance to ensure that replacement parts/supplies are always readily available.
• Maintain records relating to utility costs throughout the property.

And the rest of the time, Technician will
• Perform other duties and functions as may be assigned by the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer from time to time.
• Participate in any Engineering initiatives and projects.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

What it takes to be a really great Technician
• Vocational School or A Diploma
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Good command of English is required; Additional language is an asset
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations
• Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment
• Ability to develop relationships with 3rd parties and the property teams
• Capacity to read situations, understand environments and respond accordingly
• Someone who is a good team player, honest, details oriented, neat and tidy
• 5 Days work week
