About the candidate

As the key individual assigned to the project by the Piping Department Manager and Lead Piping Engineer, you will fulfill the responsibilities associated with this role. • Knowledge in the systematics, biology, ecology, and field surveillance of vectors (including rodents) and their associated pathogens
• Experience in or a willingness to learn animal dissection techniques
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and interest in working in high-containment laboratories
• Basic knowledge of biostatistics and use of statistical software
• Possessing a valid class 3 license and willingness to drive NEA's vehicle to field sites is preferred
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and contribute to the translation of research into public health policy and operations
• Good organisational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication (written and oral) skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
