The Signature Research Programme in Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders (NBD) is focused on understanding the structure and function of the nervous system, and the neural mechanisms underlying human neurological, psychiatric and ophthalmological disorders.

The Laboratory of Neural Stem Cells, led by Professor Hongyan Wang, is dedicated to understanding molecular mechanisms of brain development. Utilizing Drosophila, mouse, and human brain organoids as model systems, our research focuses on elucidating to neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and regeneration, as well as their implications in neurodevelopmental disorders (Science Advances 2024, Nature Communications 2024, PLOS Biology 2024, Cell 2024, Developmental Cell 2023, 2010, 2011). The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.
