ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Meranti Power Pte Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Market Authority, is continuing to recruit additional new staff to manage and operate the new power generation stations on Jurong Island. We are inviting applicants for the position of Senior Cybersecurity Specialist who shall report to the Chief Cybersecurity. The scope and requirements are as follows:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to manage vulnerability management, cybersecurity exercises, governance/risk/compliance (GRC), security monitoring and analysis, and incident response. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems by identifying and mitigating threats, managing security incidents, and ensuring the continual enhancement of our security infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage security incident responses, including investigations and remediation actions.
• Support incident response efforts and handle additional assigned tasks.
• Oversee security audits and conduct gap analysis.
• Manage and review IT & OT projects, including solutions and vendor performance.
• Manage vendors and contractors.
• Possess strong expertise in Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Switches, Routers, VPN) and Servers (Physical/Virtual).
• Oversee the Incident Response Plan (IRP), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and Cyber Crisis Plan (CCP).
• Provide independent IT and cyber risk management guidance to business, technical, and operations teams for secure technology implementations.
• Recommend enhancements to MP’s cybersecurity posture.
• Partner with risk owners to proactively manage risks and reduce the impact of incidents, breaches, or non-compliance.
• Track and oversee the patch management process.
• Ensure Technology conducts risk assessments and implements a secure System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity and IT risk management policies, standards, third-party vendor management, and system criticality frameworks to ensure effective IT risk compliance and cyber defense.
• Identify and assess technology risks in projects, ensuring business/technology units implement effective controls to mitigate risks from change requests, new initiatives, and processes.
• Identify and assess emerging risks, working with stakeholders to devise effective mitigating controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity.
• Able to perform 24/7 standby.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, results focused and willing to work under tight timelines with different stakeholders
• Ability to write good reports and prepare presentation materials.
• Able to work independently as well as in team settings.
• Certified GCIH & CISSP (Optional).
• Willing to work in Jurong Island. (Morning transportation pick-up points available at different parts of Singapore.)

Duties:

• Start from the design, development, building and qualifying of various lab instruments, the major focus is in Sample Preparation equipment including our featured FastPrep family (homogenizer).
• Develop and fabricate test equipment in line with test specifications under the direction and guidance of direct supervisor.
• Execute tests using test equipment that measures temperature, electricity, light, flow, pressure, strain, force, distance, time, noise, weight etc.
• Collect and analyze test data/results, document results and outcomes.
• Support the design and fabrication/assembly of both working and visual prototype models. Materials include foam, plastics, and various metals.
• Analyze equipment failures and factory work stoppage problems and provide solutions
• Fabricates, repairs, improves designs of and constructs mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
• Coordinate with outside calibration vendors effectively
• Maintains detailed and up to date test data in laboratory notebook and active test logs
• Support manufacturing ramp up, and design transfer during product development

Requirement:

• Master's Degree and above in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of hands-on Mechanical and Electrical experience.
• Possess broad base of knowledge with understanding and skills in the following areas: Electrical, Fabrication, Tool Making, Machining.
• Must be proficient in the use of machine shop equipment and all hand tools including saws, sanders, drills, grinders, press, brake, shear, lathe, milling machine.
• Able to operate test equipment that measures temperature, electricity, light, flow, pressure, strain, force, distance, time, noise and weight.
• Can work from prints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.
• Reads wiring/electrical and piping schematics and engineering drawings.
• Electrical experience/training in use of and design of AC and DC circuits.
• Piping experience and ability to use electrical test equipment and measuring tools necessary.
• Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Experience and knowledge of the following areas preferred:

1. Rapid Prototyping
2. Testing and Design Controls
3. Installation
4. Design

Senior Machinery Technician

• Able to work under stress situation
• Good team player
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment used in the construction project
• Preferably at least 5 years experience on truck Euro 2 - Euro 5 Diesel Engine on majority brand chassis
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic system and hydraulic pump
• Conduct inspection regularly on the machinery/equipment to ensure a smooth operation process.
• Carry out routine servicing of equipment as part of a measure to prevent breakdowns and malfunction, which could thwart operation activities.
• Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment
• Carry out mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair of machinery
• Ensuring repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on equipment are completed on time and safety
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager
• Required to go construction site and work overtime if necessary
