The Money, Work & Tech team is a key part of BBC News Content, providing content of the highest editorial and technical standard for television, radio and online/mobile platforms both in the UK and internationally.

Job Purpose

You will be joining a bureau which produces BBC News’ primetime Asia morning programs, Newsday and Business Today. Your primary responsibilities will be for Newsday, working closely with the News channel team in London to co-produce the program.

The Brightline observational study at NTU will target an enrolment of N=500 students who will be onboarded onto the HOPES digital phenotyping platform. Digital phenotyping data will be collected from the participants via a wrist-wearable device and the smartphone for six months. Job Description:

This role is pivotal in advocating for Company’s products among showroom owners, ID carpenters throughout Singapore. Candidates must possess a strong grasp of architectural specifications and excel in influencing product selection through impactful presentations and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, showroom owners, directors, and other stakeholders.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, and cold calling to open new accounts.

• Promote and introduce Company’s products to existing and new accounts to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Showcase marketing tools such as standees, anti-bacterial decals, binders, and wire racks for display in showroom interiors.

• Conduct effective product presentations to stakeholders and potential clients to showcase our products' advantages and salient features.

• Manage the collection of payments from clients in a timely manner.

• Develop strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade organizations, and key influencers to enhance brand visibility and market reach.

• Work with internal teams, including marketing, accounts, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth sales management and project deliveries.

• Gather and relay market insights to management for strategic decision-making.

• Maintain accurate records by entering visit details, sample information, and client data into Salesforce CRM.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role in the building materials and/or surfacing products.

• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset.

• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Willingness to travel extensively

• Good connection with interior design showroom owners within the assigned territory.

Design:

• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts clearly.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces (UI) with a strong focus on usability and accessibility.
• Maintain and enhance the design system to ensure consistency across products.
• Organize and structure content using information architecture principles.
• Conduct user interviews to understand customer needs and pain points.
• Develop customer journey maps to visualize user interactions across touchpoints.
• Perform usability tests to validate design decisions and refine prototypes.
• Use A/B testing to evaluate and optimize design elements based on data-driven insights.
• Apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems creatively.
• Develop service blueprints to align user needs with business goals and operational processes.
• Participate in cross-functional brainstorms to generate innovative ideas.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Take ownership of project management tasks, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or similar relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in UX/UI design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
• Experience in user research, including interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of design thinking and service blueprinting frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML/CSS to bridge the gap between design and development.
• Experience with agile workflows and tools like JIRA or Trello.
• Ability to balance creativity with practicality and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies to facilitate collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar to gather insights.
• Background in agile methodologies or project management.
• Business level Mandarin speaking is required as the candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders, vendors and counterparts on daily basis.

• Simulate user issues to identify and resolve network and connectivity problems. Conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint the source of infrastructure incidents and devise temporary and permanent solutions.
• Recommend system modifications to address ongoing issues. Oversee updates and maintain an accurate system inventory.
• Mentor and train teams on resolving infrastructure-related incidents.
• Lead the planning and requirements phases of infrastructure network operations projects.

• Gather performance and data usage statistics for capacity planning and reporting.
• Perform ongoing tuning and optimization of infrastructure network hardware and software components.
• Manage and troubleshoot SDWAN infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certified in CCNP, NSE, and CCSA.
• Cloud certification and experience preferred.
• Proficient in network management tools such as SolarWinds, WLC, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
• Understanding of cloud network architecture, particularly Azure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work outside of standard business hours.
