• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax

• Manage regular reports from vessels assigned to him/her and file them in a structured manner.

To support the company's growth, we are looking for a tax candidate with experience in global/regional indirect tax.

As the tax strategist in the firm, you will primarily business-partner with functional stakeholders across the business to build business cases and support commercial decisions.
Here's a snippet of the job scope:

• Develop and implement sound tax strategies to support commercial growth
• Responsible for monitoring changes in indirect tax policies and regulations
• Manage impact assessments and advise stakeholders on risks and opportunities from changes
• Support inter-team projects for systems and processes

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a candidate ideally with advisory and commercial experience in global/regional indirect tax.

You should possess a relevant degree and/or equivalent qualifications.
The ideal candidate should also have both technical expertise and business-partnering capabilities to manage this role successfully.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you are responsible to lead the Singapore DDP (Dielectric Deposition Products) manufacturing team. Your key duties include:

• Lead engineering team, projects and programs in area of responsibility, and ensures that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of projects.
• Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
• Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with company policies including (but not limited to) engineering/lab notebooks, patents, Intellectual property, confidentiality, ISO, safety and others as required.
• Establishes departmental budgets and spending requirements. Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner in alignment with AOP to ensure maximum productivity for the area.
• Effectively assigns work to subordinate staff, providing for professional development and coaching.
• Spearheads research and development of new manufacturing technologies, as appropriate, and ensures that newly created processes, designs, and/or methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products/services, and/or disseminated to other areas as needed.
• Effectively utilizes common engineering technology and software packages for optimization of design development activities and timelines to ensure rapid commercialization.

Requirements:

• Master/ Bachelor Degree in Engineering with years of relevant manufacturing experiences
• At least 4 years of supervisory experiences managing a team of engineers
• At least 7 years of industry experiences in manufacturing, electronics or semiconductor
• Problem-solving and quality-minded personality
• Ability to work with deadlines and different levels of stakeholders
• Ability to work with global stakeholders which may lead to having meetings at different time zones
• Ability to travel for work at times in need
• Candidates with more experiences may be considered for Senior role.
