We are hiring research engineers interested in advancing the state of the art in data-efficient machine learning at SMART in the new program: Mens, Manus and Machina: How AI empowers people and the city in Singapore (M3S).

The Research Assistant who will play a key role in assisting in the development, execution and analysis of research aimed at addressing the challenges of training and operating in rising ambient temperatures. In addition, the role will require the following job relevant experience or attributes:

• Keen interest in heat health and human performance
• Proficient in qualitative research
• Proficient in data analysis tools in quantitative research
• Two or more years of research work experience would be an advantage
• Proven knowledge of data collection methods
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good presentation skills and ability to write research reports for publication in reputable journals

The role is based in Singapore.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
