The coordinator works closely with families, funeral directors, and service providers to arrange a personalized and seamless experience during a difficult time.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Coordinate and schedule all memorial services, viewings, and ceremonies, ensuring that all logistics are arranged according to the family's wishes.

2. Liaise with funeral directors, clergy, celebrants, musicians, and other service providers to ensure smooth service execution.

3. Assist families in selecting and organizing service elements, including caskets, urns, floral arrangements, programs, and multimedia displays.

4. Serve as the main point of contact for bereaved families, offering compassionate guidance and support throughout the planning process.

5. Provide information and options for memorial services, burial, or cremation, ensuring families understand the available choices.

6. Manage the setup and breakdown of memorial service spaces, including arranging seating, sound systems, and displays.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

1. Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines efficiently.

2. Ability to plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of memorial services.

3. Familiarity with floral arrangements and their significance in memorial services, including types of flowers and designs.

4. Ability to manage multiple families and services simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
