Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of current installed base of XRD & XRF for APAC.

· Troubleshoot, diagnose customer problems, and coordinates appropriate corrective action directly.

· Conform always to Malvern Panalytical and customer’s safety, cleanliness, and working protocol policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Malvern Panalytical are understood and met. Carry out preventative maintenance activities to installed base as per factory guidelines.

· Provide Service Support and basic training after installation.

· General Service administration activities and report submission.

· Responsible for proper spare part handling per internal procedures.

Qualifications:

· Diploma Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related education. Knowledge of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical, Electronics, Mechanics preferred.

· 2~3 of experience in maintaining analytical instruments or semiconductor equipment is preferred.

· Able to read circuit diagrams, technical manual in English.

· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with MS office proficiency.

· Self-sufficient in computer/networking skills necessary to analyse logs, summarize data.

· Able to travel both domestically and internationally on short notice.

A. Sales Functions:

• To visit and provide Sales support to all after-market customers in Singapore territories and East/West Malaysia

B. Service Functions:

• Commissioning of equipment, co-ordinations of installations of equipment, troubleshooting and technical support to customers and in-house executions.
• To write technical reports after service jobs are completed.

Job Requirements:

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring proper adoption of resource, quality and risk standards as well as managing project profit during the project lifecycle. He/She coordinates all administrative processes related to a project eg reports, claims, payment of invoices, including the final project handover documentation. He/She typically comes from an engineering industry/background and is able to identify and report project-related issues as well as suggests changes related to quality, risk and administrative processes.

He/She has good communication, customer management and negotiation skills for engaging with both internal and external parties to coordinate project activities between organisational departments and teams during the various phases of a project, as well as managing sub-contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and adhering to technical requirements.
