The FSM shall be in charge of the following:
➢ Implement control of Flammable Material into the tunnel according to the
Company’s requirement. Training to be provided to Tunnel Attendants to
conduct such checks.
➢ Implement tunnel emergency evacuation plan according to the Company’s
tunnel SOP. Training to be provided to SIC, 2SIC and workers.
➢ Conduct weekly spot checks and inspection on flammable material in tunnel
per tunnel zone.
➢ Documentation with photos of weekly spot check per tunnel zone to be
submitted to the Company/Engineer on a weekly basis.
➢ Plan monthly fire drill at each tunnel zone of work and submit the fire drill report to the Company/Engineer.
➢ When required, participate in meetings and fire drill with SCDF and the
Company/Engineer.
➢ Plan, document and implement tunnel evacuation plan
➢ Coordinate directly with Distribution Control Centre (DCC), Tunnel Control
Centre (TCC) and all other Contractors working in the tunnel on the monthly fire
drill.
➢ The contractor shall be the main occupier at site and the FSM shall ensure that
all WSHC are equipped to provide Safety Induction Course for all workers
working in the Tunnel, including other Contractors.
➢ FSM shall work in collaboration with the Contractor to finalise the material for
the SIC course. FSM is to keep an attendance sheet record of SIC training
provided and to provide a sticker on the safety helmet with date stamp after the
worker attends the SIC course. The SIC course is to be conducted weekly, or
as and when required.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification of FSM according to SCDF requirement with minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.
