Production Manager

Mercantile is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager for our mobile devices refurbishing facility. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process, managing the production team, and ensuring that quality standards are met in refurbishing mobile devices. Key Responsibilities:

Production Management: Oversee the production process, including receiving, testing, repairing, and refurbishing mobile devices according to established quality standards and production schedules. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in the refurbishing production process. Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the production team. Set performance expectations, monitor performance, and provide feedback and recognition to team members. Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels and skills development. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, and promote employee engagement and motivation.

Equipment and Facility Management: Manage the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and facility to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and external vendors for repairs and maintenance, and ensure that all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Identify and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements to improve production efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on production performance, including production output, quality metrics, and labor utilization. Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance and progress towards production goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
