Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Customer Service Executive at SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as processing shipping documentation, providing customer service to clients and ensuring smooth operations throughout the container haulage process.

1. Maintain business relationship with customers. Attend to customer’s enquiries and ensure all the job requirements in their orders are fulfilled
2. Perform job creation for trucking activities. Monitor progress of job order and shipments adhering to deadlines or specified dates
3. Communicate customers’ trucking requirements to staff in Operations department for them to perform the trucking activities
4. Monitor job and provide timely updates for shipment, including updating of container details into system
5. Advise customers on delivery schedule/ inventory
6. Maintain inventory report and undertake monthly closing of trucking jobs
7. Assist in billing, issuance of debit notes and credit notes and accruals
8. Ensure proper documentation and filling of invoices and job sheets
9. Assist in permit declaration for job orders when required
10. Attend to customers’ feedback and complaints and work with superior to assist with the findings and reporting of the complaints
11. Assist superior to implement improvement plans for the team
12. Assist in ad-hoc quotation or commercial rates requests from customers
13. Assist superior to gather data and perform reporting as and when required

Requirements

1. Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 - 3 year of experience in customer service/ shipping documentation role in a 3PL company.
3. Strong knowledge of Hauler operations, transportation logistics, and customs clearance procedures in Singapore.
4. Experience with TradeNet is a plus.
5. Able to perform overtime when necessary

Job Summary:

• Manages end-to-end customer service and support activities including but not limited to forecasting, order management, supply demand changes, PCN, RMA, finance related questions, export compliance, and product commercial information for external customers/accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Provides customer facing support for new customer creation, product/service contract and order management, forecast entry to shipments/returns support
• Order Management (Purchase Order Entry, Change Orders and scheduling), proactively manages & monitors customer orders and shipments, resolving any issues on the account before shipment
• Responsible for managing customer expectations in respect to supply/demand and other related issues and escalating when necessary.
