Primary Objectives of Position

• Lead a team of senior / technicians to carry out scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance together on passenger trains/engineering vehicles/light rail vehicles/component/equipment as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure the team comply with all PM & CM works and related tasks with approved work instructions, quality procedures, safety and operational procedures, and good maintenance standards.
• Plan and coordinate within the team and other teams to complete the assigned maintenance tasks within the established standard time.
• Ensure the team has the necessary qualifications and authorization to carry out daily tasks and any assigned tasks by supervisor.
• Responsible for the safety, welfare and discipline of the team.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the team equipment/tools and working environment

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for team's quality and standards of the PM/CM works within the established standard time and be competent to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks within the established standard time in accordance to work instructions and related documents, as assigned by supervisors.
• Exercise safety always, in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Responsible for the safety of self and all co-workers, inclusive of contractors.
• Demonstrate sufficient ability in diagnostic and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Forecast and plan his team and resources to complete maintenance tasks and assigned tasks timely.
• Perform supporting maintenance activities such as Train Driver/Shunter, overhead crane operator, forklift driver, etc. as authorized and required by the supervisor.
• Able to work on a shift roster system in accordance with the MOM guidelines and the Collective Agreement.
• Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of the works assigned by supervisor.

Specific Safety Responsibilities

• Undertake daily safety checks on trains and only signs trains off as fit for service after they have been properly checked.
• Carry out repairs on trains in a safe way according to training received and only signs the work off as complete after thorough checks have been carried out.
• Undertake work in accordance with Company Rules and Procedures.
• Remains constantly vigilant for unexpected defects on trains and report them immediately to his Supervisor.

Job Specifications

• Higher Nitec (with Experience) or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering).
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in maintenance/repair/installation of electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Fresh graduate with good academic results will also be considered.
• Experience in railway environment will be an added advantage.
• Must have analytical & fault-finding skills.
• Understand at least two of electrical/electronic/air conditioning/pneumatic/mechanical system.

Remuneration: $3,500 - $4,000

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 7:30am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
• Initiate, implement, and manage the processes improvement program based on best practices in the metal drum making industry, with an emphasis on productivity and product quality.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to all Regulatory and Statutory Requirement.
• Establish and prepare process documentation
• Make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving production-related problems.
• Train respective subordinates
• Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions
• Assist in hiring of production personnel.
• Maintain and update operating manuals for all the manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Job Description:

• Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in M&E or Mechanical Engineering
• Able to supervise and lead the subordinates.
• Willing to work after working hour or during non-working days.
• Knowledge in ISO would be highly advantageous

Key Duties:

• Perform engineering duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, tender preparation/evaluations as part of the engineering project team
• QA/QC documentation of engineering deliverables (DTS,MSS,RFI)
• Liaison with clients, project managers, architects, contractors
• Assist in resolving any technical problems faced during project design and/or construction stages
• Any other required duties as required by the Project Team

Our client is a Japanese multinational engineering, electrical equipment and electronics corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. You will involves performing data entry tasks, such as inputting and uploading data into Excel and the authorities' management system. This includes conducting periodic checks on the management system, summarizing the situation, and creating necessary documents for collection..

Qualifications:

• ITE in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or years of equivalent technical knowledge
• Basic knowledge operation system like Windows, Linux

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop hardware for switched-mode power supplies and battery chargers.
• Perform topology selection, circuit design, component selection, and power loss calculations based on customer specifications.
• Design schematic and PCB layout based on product design.
• Craft test and verification plan to ensure product design can comply with customer requirements.
• Ensure the product can meet safety and certification requirements.
• Resolve issues with design promptly based on customer and internal feedback.
• Liaise with multiple parties – customer, factory, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the product.
• Good communication skills to ensure effective collaboration within a diverse team.

Requirements:

• BSc, MSc, PhD, or researcher with Min. 3 years experience.
• Knowledge of power electronics topologies and design – flyback, boost PFC, LLC, PSFB.
• Experience designing CC/CV charger systems and working on power supplies with power levels >500W.
• Working experience in schematic design and PCB layout software, e.g. OrCAD, PADS, or other equivalent software
• Familiar with simulation tools, e.g. LTspice, PSIM, or other equivalent software
• Acquainted with test equipment such as AC/DC source, electronic load, oscilloscope, and soldering iron.
• Candidates with the below skillsets will be an added advantage.
