We are seeking a self-motivated, solution-oriented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our Product & Engineering Team.

In this role, you will

• Design and deliver a ML-based pricing system that delights our customers with a hyper-personalised experience.
• Work closely with data scientists, data engineers and platform engineers to operationalise ML models and serve inferences efficiently, which include automating ML pipelines, performance monitoring and testing.
• Collaborate with product owners and work backwards from both our customers and partners to define AI/ML features.
• Be the evangelist for AI/ML through mentoring and technical/knowledge sharing
• Participate actively in design and codereviews.

You will be a great match if you have:

• You possess at least 3+ years ofexperience in software engineering ormachine learning engineering.
• You have programming experience inPython, Java, Pyspark and Scala.
• You possess knowledge of Big Dataframeworks like Hadoop, Spark,Impala, Hive, etc
• You have experience in building andoptimizing Machine Learning models,pipelines and architectures.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of a scalable and reliable data platform based on the data mesh principles with modern data stack.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources.
• Collaborate with engineers across domains to understand their data needs and develop self-service data access tools and APIs.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal data products
• Partner with the data science and analytics teams to ensure their data needs are met.
• Follow and contribute to the continuous improvement of data standards and best practices.

What you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Additional experience as backend software engineer is preferred
• Proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehouse and data lake.
• Experience with modern data stack (eg. Snowflake, dbt, airflow, etc) is a plus.
• Understanding of data mesh principles and concepts is beneficial.
• Experience working in an ambiguous, low control yet fast paced startup environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for solving technical business solution needs of partner and/or end user by providing presales support in the following areas: -Presentation
  - Demo
  - POC
  - proposal writing
  - compliance table
  - Statement of Work (SOW)
  - Training/Product Enablement
• Develop working proficiency and obtain certifications on assigned products and technologies through self-directed and formal training
• Responsible for conducting hands-on POC independently
• Independently present vendor’s solution to partners and end-users
• Provide updates and trainings to partners and end-users when required
• Collaborate, work closely and support product managers and channel account managers, in bringing opportunities to closure.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting

Qualifications:

• Degree / Diploma in IT / Computer Studies or equivalent
• Min 2-5 years of hands-on experience in IT network and Cybersecurity domain
• Strong knowledge of security and networking infrastructure environment
• Process good analytical, communication, interpersonal and personal skill
• Good attitude with willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently but still a team player.
• Territory Qualification preferred but not mandatory
