Job Overview

The Service Delivery Lead leads and supports programs and projects using different frameworks such as Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall. They organize and facilitate meetings and events, gather business requirements from stakeholders, and prioritize change requests and bugs to optimize business value. They also remove any impediments for the project team, manage the risk plan and client expectations, and motivate the team to deliver the service according to schedule and quality.

The Service Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire service delivery life cycle from start to finish, including design, resource allocation, and software development. They also support the execution of test plans and bug fixes and work with different parties within the client organization to accelerate service delivery progress. They also key player in team development and responsible for holding teams accountable for their commitments and maintaining a good relationship with clients, users, and stakeholders. Additionally, they also work with the finance department on COC sign-off and payment milestones.

• Experience in implementing project management tools, SmartSheet, Figma, and graph drawing is a plus; ability to maintain good documents and artifacts is crucial.

Job Description:

• Facilitate all software modifications and upgrades as part of the software maintenance to upkeep smooth operations of the system.
• Prepare and review SUCOs / SARs (Access request approval) before obtaining approval from customer
• Reports to O&M Manager & Assistant Manager.
• Deliver service and support to the O&M Team when requested.
• Attend to and manage all software or hardware related errors.
• Work closely with System Administrator to resolve software and hardware related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving BHS Application, network connectivity and more.
• Gather information and determine the issue by evaluating, analyzing and isolating the details/symptoms.
• Follow standard processes and procedures.
• Identify and escalate priority issues.
• Redirect problems to appropriate resource.
• Reviews all system occurrences to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate and follow up with Hotline on all reported cases and communicate to the customer where necessary.
• Interact with the customer to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
• Provide guidance and training to CC room staff on all software related matters.
• Carry out training to staff and conduct practical test during off peak period.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Certifications in supporting relevant technologies such as MCP, MCSE and CCNA will be a definite advantage.
• Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, or its equivalent, with relevant experience of at least 7 years will also be considered.
• Experience in maintaining automated baggage handling systems or automated systems in material handling industries preferred.
• Experience in a control room environment preferred.
• General understanding of the underlying operating system, e.g., VMware, Windows and Linux.
• General understanding of storage technologies, memory management, disk arrays, NAS/SAN, networking.
• Must be a strong team player and able to work independently, with curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to travel overseas if required.
• Possess strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to offer expert guidance and support across a spectrum of projects, ranging from minor enhancements to significant multi-year initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass leading and supporting the SAP system through key upcoming projects, including system migrations, and facilitating the integration of new functionalities into the SAP landscape to support business initiatives.

• Serve as a knowledge resource for HANA environments, SAP R/3 4.7, ECC 607, BW 7.0, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portals capabilities, and best practices.
• Perform core SAP Basis administrator functions, such as software installation and setup, enhancement pack and support pack installation and upgrades, performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity management, adhering to enterprise standards and leveraging best operating practices.
• Actively participate in SAP infrastructure design, encompassing server, storage, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Support SAP Landscape strategy, including client copies and system refreshes.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, covering specifications, requirement summaries, logical system design documents, state diagrams, and test scripts.
• Monitor, analyze, and identify trends for system performance and resource utilization.
• Respond to system problems on a 24x7 basis, participating in on-call rotation.
• Assist with change control, incident response, and testing processes for infrastructure changes or problems across the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with database administration resources in HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/Security Administration, including one or more of the following SAP modules: HANA, ECC, BW, PI, ERP, Solution Manager, and CRM.
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for SAP Basis Administration and operations.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with business analysis techniques and methodologies, including User Stories, Use Cases, Requirements Gathering, Requirements Tracking, UAT, Systems Testing, Agile Methodology, and Waterfall Methodology.
• Analytical and creative, with the ability to solve problems and develop solutions accordingly.
• Highly self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Experience in summarizing and presenting complex topics to non-technical audiences.
