Project Engineer will be under Marine service line, the appropriate quality check, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables.

1. Working in workshop and vessels.

2. Good communication skills with Ship Owners and Superintends.

3. Good time Management and work Independently.

4. Attend and manage dealing with vendors, designers, classification, and flag statutory on engineering issues

5. Reviewing technical specification and drawings from designer meeting owner, class, and customer requirements

6. To perform any other duties & Responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time.

7. Ability to demonstrate and implement cost -saving measures.

8. Ability to lead to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.

Requirements:

- Min 5 Years experience as Marine Industry.

- Proficient in Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

-Proficient in AutoCAD application

- Able to work OT.

- Excellent coordination skills.

- Able to working at Height.

- Possess positive working attitude

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and debug test equipment, executable software, and code.

• Works with testing equipment to develop user friendly software.

• Take on various engineering tasks which will help to acquire new skills.

• Design software architecture and optimize the performance.

• Data acquisition and manipulation using different hardware.

• Provide customer support to internal and external stakeholders in person, over the phone or via email.

• Provide documentation for new or existing designs.

• Follow and familiarize self with company policies and procedures.

• Performs tasks accurately and efficiently, free from errors.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience with using LabVIEW, CTT, Python, and C#C

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for trouble shooting and resolving all welding quality and productivity issues through active engagement with the customers and production supervisors
• Develop and draft new welding procedures, including procedure qualification training
• Trouble-shoot and provide support to the Production on all welding quality issues
• Conduct random inspections to ensure that the welding activities carried out conform to the relevant customer specifications, codes and standards
• Directs and coordinates technical personnel in performing inspections to ensure workers' compliance with established welding procedures, restrictions, and standards; in testing welds for conformance with national code requirements; or testing welding personnel for certification
• Contacts personnel of other agencies, engineering personnel, or clients to exchange ideas, information or offer technical advice concerning welding matters
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma/ degree in Metallurgical/ Material/ Mechanical Engineering
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in preparation of WPS, PQR and welders’ qualification
• Knowledge of API, ASME-IX, NACE MR00175 codes and ISO 9001:2015 standard
• Certified Welding Inspector or CSWIP

Resposibilities:

• Receive customer enquiries through customer portal or email.
• Download, update, and monitor customer product Bill of Material (BOM), drawings, and specifications and its revisions.
• Prepare Sales quotation/proposal/tender documents during RFQ/quotation stage.
• Check and ensure compliance to all specifications prior to providing customer the proposal.
• Calculate material, machining, cladding and other associated costs to quotations.
• Ensure quotations submitted are competitive and maintain a good profit margin.
• Follow-up on proposals with clients to secure orders.
• Prepare and distribute a Sales Order Job Launch when customer awards Purchase orders.
• Project Management on active Sales Orders and delivery schedules.
• Manage and build customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to compile and submit documentations as required (e.g. pre-production/ final product documentations, concessions/non-conformances)
• Establish positive communications with customers regularly.

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
