Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Front of House (FOH) Service Roamer to deliver an exceptional customer experience at Five Iron Golf Singapore. You’ll play a dynamic role in managing front desk operations, guiding customers, handling food and beverage services, and ensuring our golf simulators run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front Desk Management:

• Greet and welcome customers warmly.
• Create and manage bookings using our booking software.
• Respond to emails and phone calls promptly.

2. Customer Service:

• Provide guided tours of the facility.
• Assist customers with golf simulator setup and usage.
• Address customer inquiries and feedback professionally.

3. Membership Management:

• Organize and manage the bag room efficiently.
• Retrieve golf bags for members as needed.
• Build rapport with members by remembering their preferences and names.

4. Golf Simulators:

• Ensure customers enjoy a seamless golf experience.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on simulators.
• Verify that technology systems are operating effectively.

5. Food and Beverage Service:

• Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and bus tables routinely.
• Provide menu recommendations when required.

Job Requirements:

• Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience is encouraged but NOT required.
• Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with booking systems and basic tech troubleshooting.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Advantageous Skills:

While not mandatory, the following skills will give candidates an edge:

• Knowledge of golf and simulator technology
• Previous experience in hospitality or F&B service
• Barista skills
• Bartending skills
• Basic IT technical troubleshooting skills
• Multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)

Working Hours:

• Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
• Work schedule is 5 days per week with a 9-hour straight shift, including breaks.
• Shifts are primarily focused on nights and weekends.
• Weekly hours may vary based on operational needs.

We are looking for individuals with positive and outgoing personality willing to take up our front line customer service position. You will be working in the front line providing quality service to customers, handling their transactions and responding to their queries. Your responsibilities will include:

• Attend to customers’ requirements, feedback and complaints in an efficient and service-oriented manner via front desk service, phone and internet enquiries
• Effectively explaining company policies and services to customers
• Handle day-to-day operational duties of the school, which includes but are not limited to fees transactions

Requisites

General Overview:

Reporting to the Cafe Manager/Assistant. Responsible for serving customers, taking and coordinating orders and keeping all areas of the outlet clean.

Job Scope:

• Handles station assigned for the day
• Keeps outlet clean and tidy
• Serves customers with friendly and uncompromising service
• Practice good etiquette
• Be attentive to customers' needs
• Practice suggestive selling
• Check that customers' orders are being fulfilled correctly
• Ensure all used plates and cutleries on the dining tables are being cleared once the customers have left the restaurant
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by Management

Professional Experience:

Preferably with minimum of 6 months of experience in service roles in the F&B industry. For senior servers, a minimum of 1 year experience as server is required.

• Design and Deployment of Infrastructure/Network/Security Solutions
  • Experience in deploying Checkpoint, Fortinet, etc..
  • Experience in deploying networks such as Citrix, F5, etc..
  • Implement VPN solution for secure remote access
• Network Security Management:
  • Handle network security for both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Design and Solution Implementation:
  • Collaborate with network, storage, and application teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
  • Create and present technical solutions to management and business units for approval and implementation.

Skills For Success

• Degree in computer science/ Information Technology, Network Industry certification (e.g CCNA, CCNP) and Professional Security certification is highly desirable.
• 2-5 years of working experience in Corporate Network & Security.
• Experience and knowledge in area of Network, Firewalls, Security Load balancers, VPNs and Authentication Systems.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network & Security industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
• Knowledge of endpoint hardware will be advantageous.
• Knowledge on Security best practices and experience in Network solutioning, Operations and UAT.
• Provide timely project status updates.
• Experience in working with vendors on technology and services.
