Job Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Engineering (Electrical /Mechatronic/Factory Automation/Science) or equivalent background
• Ability to explain their products in a comprehensive fashion
• Integrity, curiosity, and self-motivated to become more knowledgeable for maintenance of the machines
• Hospitability and meticulous care for client’s satisfaction
• Good communication skills to establish good relationships with clients in southeast Asian countries
• Minimum conversational level of Japanese for communication with Japanese speaking stakeholders
• Passion for learning Japanese language and Japanese culture

Senior/ Site Engineer (Marine or Coastal projects)

Our client is one of the leading A1 main contractors with over 20 years of history in Singapore. They have built an impressive track record in doing private residential projects, mixed development, commercial, infrastructure and some of the iconic projects in Singapore.

Currently they are looking for a Senior/ Site Engineer (Marine) for one of the iconic mixed development. 5.5 days work per week and performance bonuses are provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage all construction documentation, including Request for Information, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate and ensure timely submission of progress reports to consultants and clients, adhering to project requirements.
• Analyze and interpret project specifications, covering civil and structural, architectural, and mechanical & electrical requirements.
• Conduct rigorous monitoring of construction activities and compile comprehensive site reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to track project progress and quality.
• Schedule and coordinate site inspections with Resident Engineers and Resident Technical Officer to ensure compliance with project and safety standards.
• Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings and address site-related discussions with clients.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines, as well as company standards, are followed at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in marine or infrastructural construction; experience in dredging, piling, jetty, or near-shore construction is highly valued. Over 5 years of working experience can be considered for Senior Site Engineer post.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
