We are looking for a submarine Technical Program Manager with proven experience, strong sense of ownership and passion for defining and driving large cross-functional programs in the infrastructure and networking space. The candidate should be self-driven, have the ability to learn quickly and influence decision-making across organizations. In this position, you will work closely with various Amazon business units to gather, refine and drive program goals to deliver submarine cable projects. Key job responsibilities

In this position, the candidate will work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver submarine cable projects across the globe. The candidate should be able to represent and lead for Amazon in deployment and operational meetings, coordinate complex projects spanning a number of geographies and deliver the project to our high standards. They should have a deep knowledge of how to construct fiber based networks that span long haul fiber and colocation including the selection and deployment of optical equipment interfacing with submarine cables. Finally, the candidate should be able to ensure that the delivered network is handed over with a suitably validated operational model appropriate to the specific deployment and location.

• In depth expertise in at least one of the Data and Analytics domains – data strategy development, data warehouse & big data implementation, business intelligence applications, machine learning / artificial intelligence domains
• Good knowledge of the Information Management framework, including operating model, data governance,data management, data security, data quality and data architecture.
• Strong skills in Agile delivery implementation methodology and delivery practices leveraging DevOpsautomation and engineering using CI/CD tools, code repositories and issue tracking and management.
• Experience in developing analytics application on public cloud stacks (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Certifications in Data Analytics tools and environment (big data technologies, cloud certifications, data integration, data management, or visualisation tools) would be an advantage.
