Ambulance Wish (Singapore) Ltd. is a registered charity with an Institution of Public Character (IPC) status. Incorporated in May 2019, our work supports terminally ill patients and their loved ones through the simple but deeply meaningful act of wish-granting. This will be a full-time position, reporting to the Executive Director (ED), and will play a key role in supporting Ambulance Wish Singapore’s finance, governance and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance

• Responsible for all accounting and financial functions of the organisation, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial processes
• Provide input to the management on all business matters that impact revenue and expenses
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs throughout the organisation
• Manage all assets of the company including receivables, inventory, property, and leasehold improvements to maximize return on investment
• Manage interactions with external stakeholders, e.g. company’s banking personnel, auditors and consultants
• Direct documentation of accounting controls, policies and procedures, including implementation after approval
• Direct all activities to ensure compliance with charity code of governance, applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting

2. General Administration

• Coordinate and administer the overall policies and procedures in the office
• Monitor and ensure insurance plans are in place and reviewed and renewed periodically
• Direct all activities, PDPA and other regulations, to ensure compliance with charity code of governance, applicable regulatory laws and rules for corporation, and charitable filings
• Coordinate with company secretary to ensure compliance with the corporate compliance matters, including but not limited to AGM, annual return, Form 45, company resolution etc.
• Provide secretariat support to AWS subcommittees
• Support the ED as needed

3. Human Resources

• Assist the ED with the reviewing and creating of human resource policies and procedures and ensuring they are updated and included in the HR policies
• Support department heads to develop and advertise recruitment posts
• Coordinate on-boarding session with other departments and track on-boarding checklist
• Develop and maintain employee P-file (personnel/records maintenance, benefits/records)
• Ensure the conducting of exit interviews
• Oversee of personnel administration matters such as employee payroll, leave and claims
• Assist department heads in identifying employee training needs and handle administrative matters of the trainings including recommendation of training courses and training providers
• Ensure the smooth running of the performance management process

Requirements

Finance or Accounting degree from an accredited tertiary institution, or comparable qualification.

At least 5 years in a finance and administrative role, with a successful track record.

Experience of managing staff and associated employment issues.

Experience in the charity sector.

Job Summary

This role has a direct reporting line to the CFO. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the Community Case Management Service (CCMS) team, providing support to vulnerable seniors and their caregivers who face difficulties in managing their multiple health and social care needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct intake and triage services for members of the community
• Provide casework, counselling and service coordination for seniors and caregivers
• Conduct psychosocial assessment and coordinate interventions with healthcare and community professionals to support seniors and caregivers
• Document and review case, interventions and outcomes within set timelines
• Ensure case documentations are submitted in a timely manner
• Liaise and work with organizations, partners and volunteers to build an ecosystem of assets and resources to facilitate more effective work with seniors and caregivers.
• Assist with report submissions or other projects, as assigned by Service Head/Manager
• Opportunities to be involved in organizational level projects.

• Degree/Graduate Diploma in Social Work
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience with good knowledge in eldercare or healthcare setting would be advantageous.

Requirements:

• Passionate to work with seniors and caregivers
• High proficiency in written and spoken English; Able to speak in mandarin and/or dialects would be essential for engagement with seniors
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with individuals and systems at multi-levels
• Good analytical and assessment skills
• Team player with an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and structured.

Responsibilities

Support regional acquisition and disposition activities in close coordination with Real Estate Solutions (RES) developers and Head of Capital Markets. Provide internal support to align with end-to-end external investment processes.

• Monitors markets and investment data

• Identifies acquistion and disposal opportunities

• Appraises acquistions and disposals

• Reviews existing refresh and redevelopment opportunities

• Manages acquistion and diposal process (SPA)

• Maintains contact with local real estate agent and investor network

• Drafts approval papers

• Coordinate various levels within organization and across a complex work environment for desired results

• Assist with maintaining capital markets and brokerage network in region

• Assist in acquiring investment for RES projects

• Coordinate and execute underwriting process with RES regional heads

• Coordinate external and internal project team activities for region

• Manage effective working relationship with other RES regional teams, CRE and DSC teams

• Leads underwriting, investment committee preparation and DSC BCA process within region and in close coordination with Head of Capital Markets and Head of RES for Region.
