This position supports corporate growth objectives by promoting and introducing PPG's productto the retail/consumer market in China, by identifying and evaluating business opportunities with new and existing Chinese Brands & Retailers. Ultimately the goal is to become the partner of choice for retailers and brands focusing on the China market.

In conjunction with Marketing, Sales & R&D, identify major brands & retailers in China, develop and implement marketing strategies to introduce nonstick coatings to those brands & retailers so they can specify Whitford Coatings through their supply chain.

• Build and manage relationships with a retailer base in China for our consumer line of products
• Specify Whitford’s products at brand owner level to increase awareness and build brand recognition for PPG’s products, resulting in measurable sales growth
• Render technical assistance to ensure products meet the customer specifications and help define those specifications where necessary
• Developing and implementing marketing, retail and sales programs with these brands & retailers
• Attend trade shows and assist in the planning of industry fairs as a visitor and exhibitor
• Prospect and co-ordinate all contact efforts in China for the retail marketing program
• Grow and maintain the database of Chinese retailers and brands via research and networking
• Provide insight, information and updates on what is going on in Chinese consumer and retail market behaviour
• Assist and participate in contractual negotiations as necessary

• Relationship building with high net worth (HNW) clients
• Understand the financial goals of HNW clients and offer wealth management solution such as insurance, leverage products, structured products and investment products to help them protect & grow their wealth
• Provide excellent customer service and banking experience
• Regularly send customers information relating to market movements and trend analysis on the financial products that they have purchased and present new and suitable opportunities to customers
• Engage in networking and marketing campaigns to increase customer base
• Comply with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities

Skills and experience required

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience
• Effective communication skills
• Analytical and logical thinking
