Job Description:

• Daily manual labour work in handling of goods
• Assist our customers’ Customer Service to coordinate all cargoes clearance, liaise with all our terminal clearance teams, pull bypass cargoes using tractor to ensure that the cargoes are in good condition at all times
• Prepare Air Waybills (AWB) before despatching cargo for loading on board aircraft.
• Assist customers in clearing all their daily urgent cargoes from Airfreight Terminals and delivering them to their warehouses on the same day with zero discrepancies.
• Ensures that all cargo shipments are handled and stored according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and handling requirements.
• Preparation of all cargo documentations and performs stock control and housekeeping operations.
• · Follows and implements safety and security measures, and reports any safety and security breaches
• · Support compliance of height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans.
• · Any other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience within a similar role as either a courier, cargo agent, delivery person, or logistics operative
• Ability to work shift work
• Familiar with all safety standards and regulations set by the organisation and other authorities
• · Excellent record-keeping abilities with the ability to file and keep in good order large volumes of paperwork
• · Demonstrated experience in providing customer support
