Operational functions involving :

• Sales order fulfilment activities namely: order processing, purchasing, stock management, order tracking and monitoring of shipments, interfacing with internal departments, customers, vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries
• Participate in vendor management activities such as negotiation for best vendor terms, prevention of wastage, monitoring and reporting of quality & service level, etc
• Identify, implement and participate in areas of operational improvements
• General Operations & Facilities Management

May be required to :

• Support role to interface with auditors on annual financial reporting
• Participate as internal ISO auditor in annual quality audit process
• Stock count during bi-annual stock take
• Ad hoc activities as may be assigned by manager from time to time

Skills & competencies :

• Familiar with trade operation processes & procedures
• Knowledge of import/export procedures & shipment documentations
• Knowledge of basic accounting will be an advantage but not compulsory
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Effective time management skills
• Effective language skills, written & verbal (English and/or Mandarin)
• Effective Team player/leader
• High level of stress tolerance

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Professional Certificate in Business, Logistics / Supply Management or equivalent
• Relevant work experience in trade operating processes and related job functions
