As a Senior Cargo Flow Analyst, the role involves looking at space optimisation and capacity management of containers for the respective trade lanes assigned. The individual will be responsible for the allocation of the flow of cargoes and ensuring operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the flow of cargoes to ensure space is optimised in vessels ensuring trade profits for the organisation.
• Collaborate with shipping agents, carriers, and other service providers to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and ensure timely delivery of cargo.
• Work closely with agents on their performance review to ensure operational efficiencies.
• Maintain planned and unplanned roll over or overbooking situation within acceptable level though cargo planning.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors Degree in Maritime, Supply Chain, Logistics or any related discipline is a plus.
• More than 2 years of experience in the cargo planning or trade field is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills is highly advantageous.
• Individuals with a passion in shipping and have experienced being in a shipping liner previously is highly advantageous.

Reports to the Centre Manager with specific responsibilities for the efficient and smooth operation of all matters relating to the maintenance, security and management of the Building.

Responsibilities:

• General administration of all building works/service contracts, carpark management, security and fire protection system.
• Oversee all aspects of common areas defects, repairs & maintenance matters, plumbing, sanitary, carpark and fire & security matters.
• Planning and implementation of building maintenance programmes such as preventive, corrective maintenance, inspection schedules and programmes relating to security.
• Prepare cost estimates, work specifications, invite quotations and follow up on various repairs and maintenance work in the Building.
• Supervise building works carried out by maintenance staff and service contractors, ensure that all works comply with specifications and statutory requirement, and initiate actions against defaulting contractors when needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of all common areas, public walkways, building surrounding facade, etc. and institute remedial action including following up on outstanding works.
• Build and maintain relationships tenants and occupiers, attend to their feedbacks and complaints.
• Liaison with government authorities/ statutory boards, architects, engineers and other divisions on matters relating to management, security and maintenance of the Building.
• Assist in preparation of budget forecast, meeting materials, minutes of meeting, various reports timely and accurately.
• Check all safety equipment, work method and procedures regularly; ensure proper control/record of keys movement and take necessary action to rectify any unsafe situations, and enhance the security in the Building.
• Attend to emergencies in Building and any other duties assigned to you from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Building / Facilities / Property Management / Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to front and manage all levels of tenants or landlord.
• Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Commercial / Retail / Industrial building experience will be a strong advantage.
• Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for Senior Executive position.
• Open to work 5.5 day.

About The Role

As a Procurement Executive / Senior Executive in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 public healthcare institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the Procurement and Contract Management services within the PHI. Working in a team, you will provide proactive planning and value add to the procurement category you are in-charge of. You will also communicate closely with hospital users and ALPS vendors to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.

The incumbent will be based in one of the Public Health Institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, strategise, analyse and implement sourcing strategy in category sourcing and supplier initiatives and be accountable for the outcomes.
• Ensure the entire procurement cycle processes are in compliance with ALPS’ procurement policies.
• Partner internal users to procure goods and/or services in a timely, effective and compliant manner.
• Manage vendors to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met.
• Add value through proper negotiation, product standardization and/or innovative ways of sourcing.
• Monitor and establish contract on time to ensure continuous supply of products and/or services.
• Actively solicit internal users’ feedback, address issues and seek continuous improvement.
• Partake in any process improvement project as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Min. 3 year of procurement experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS office and Excel
• Advanced analytical and negotiation skills
• Familiarisation with SAP would be an added advantage
