Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping Coordination & Documentation
- Manage and execute all export shipment activities, including supplier returns, from the Singapore warehouse to the dealer network.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of all related export documentation, including dealer invoices, delivery orders, and Certificates of Origin.
- Ensure proper handling of Dangerous Goods (DG) packaging and export declarations.
- Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Business Areas and warehouse operations, to ensure timely processing and shipment of orders.
- Work closely with the Service Centre and operations teams to manage urgent or special delivery requests from dealers.
- Logistics & 3PL Coordination
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipment transportation.
- Ensure that all export documents are archived appropriately.
- Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as the first point of contact for resolving daily shipping issues, including basic system-related issues.
- Track performance metrics and analyze gaps, proposing actions to address any discrepancies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the shipping and order fulfillment teams.
- Provide cross-functional support and act as a backup when required, ensuring smooth team operations.
- Cross-Departmental Engagement
- Actively engage in cross-departmental projects and initiatives to drive overall organizational success.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, ideally within a warehouse operations environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently, and effective escalation of issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A problem-solving mindset and eagerness for continuous learning and improvement.
