Executive (Corporate Procurement)

You will be supporting the Contracts and Procurement Division (Corporate) in the following areas:

What you will be working on

• To assist and support in checking procurement related documents
• To assist and support in data entries for procurement requests in JTC’s IT System (PROMPT)
• To assist in checking & verifying Corrigendum in PROMPT
• To assist in checking Award Recommendation Reports (TRR)
• To assist in checking evaluation matrices for Price and Quality scorings
• To assist and support in preparing draft Letter of Acceptance
• To assist and support in updating Contract Details in PROMPT
• To assist and support in requesting for creation of Contract Files in JTC’s IT System (KRIS)
• To assist and support in checking and uploading Security Deposit in PROMPT
• To assist and support in checking and uploading Insurance Policies in PROMPT
• To assist and support in updating changes of Project Team Members, External Consultants/Managing Agents in PROMPT
• To assist and support in preparing draft Letter of Extension
• To assist and support in performing Contract Closure (PROMPT)
• Any other procurement and contract management related administrative work as and when required

What we are looking for

Background in Procurement or Building or Quantity Surveying

• Position : SHIPPING DOCUMENTATION OFFICER (Marine / Maritime Industry)
• Location : North Bridge Road (Walking distance from Fort Canning MRT Station)
• Working hours : 5 days / Monday - Friday - 9.30am -5.30pm
• Salary (Commensurate with experience): Salary up to $3700 + AWS + 14 days Annual Leave
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Marine & Offshore Shipyard

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing documentation related to vessel certificates and stationery
• Provide support to engineers in compiling reports, letters and drawings for submission
• Coordinating and overseeing marine activities and operations
• Asist to handle existing Projects together with the sales team
• Arranging travel logistics
• Handling invoicing and updating application forms for class audits and other vessel-related matters

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in Marine & Offshore Shipyard
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
• Bilingual in English and Bahasa to liaise with Bahasa clients who can converse in Bahasa, BUT NOT MANDATORY

Responsibilities:

• Customer Support Specialist collaborates with and supports Sales Executive or overseas offices to ensure that all sales and customer support activities are handled proactively and efficiently, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• The Customer Support Specialist completes all customer quotation requests and coordinates the tariff maintenance for all accepted quotes and rates issued to customers.
• In this role, the Customer Support Specialist plays an important part in achieving our “Happy Customer” value through a dedicated focus on meeting customer needs.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in NVOCC or Freight Forwarding, candidate without experience is welcome.
• Knowledgeable on shipping documents, customs clearance, etc.
• Good attitude and process customer service mind
• Good communication skills (spoken and written)
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
