The Trading Operator is responsible in for executing trades from contract conclusion by the Trading teams to cash collection:

• Delivering seamless and effective delivery of excellent service to Holcim’s business partners (customers, ship owners/brokers, suppliers) in a timely manner.

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working experience in accounts receivable and payable
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and AR/AP processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Invoicing and Billing

• Assist in generating and issuing sales invoices, record supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
• Ensure sales/purchase invoice information is correct.

Accounts Receivable & Payable Management

• Support the follow-up on overdue accounts and assist in collection/vendor payment activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts receivable & payable activities.
• Assist in preparing regular AR/AP reports, including aging analysis.

Customer/Vendor Relations

• Assist in resolving billing issues and discrepancies.

Bank Reconciliation

• Assist in performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Others/Ad-Hoc

• Assist in audit

• Collaborate with the QA team to review incoming specifications and ensure purchase orders meet the required standards and specifications.
• Responsible for sourcing quotes for office and manufacturing-related raw materials and services, with expertise in recommending suitable alternative materials, grades, or composites.
• Coordinate with the Planning team to prevent costly shortages or sudden ramp-ups of raw materials and ensure timely follow-up with vendors for critical parts.
• Oversee supplier performance, including on-time delivery (OTD) and quality metrics, to ensure a consistent and reliable supply for production needs.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline, preferably supplemented with a Certificate in Purchasing or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. Applicants with less experience may also be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP/SAP system
