About the Role:

As a CBRE Contract Support Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to a large Business Unit, Facility, or Account. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to help with the acceleration of cloud adoption. The applicant will have a strong background in IT Infrastructure with a strong understanding and experience with Public, Private and hybrid cloud.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using Google Cloud.

• Ensure compliance with asset management regulations in relevant countries.

• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues promptly.

• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.

• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company policies

• Developing, deploying and debugging IaC code (Cloud formation and Terraform).

• Interacting with users, providing cloud support, and making recommendations

• Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues

• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud.

• Experience in the financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

• Familiarity with asset management regulations

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).

• A Degree in Architectural from local or overseas universities
• At least four (4) years of practical working experience in the related field in building construction projects
• Report to Project Manager, and assist in managing, planning and coordinating construction works to meet time, cost and quality objectives
• Coordinate design and/or detailing with consultants, develop shopdrawings, review of submissions from subcontractors and liaise with other work disciplines
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, initiative and responsible

• Remuneration shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. Basic salary: $8,500 to $9,500, plus allowances

• To oversee the daily operations of QA/QC Department.
• To review and upgrade the quality control activities.
• To initiate, recommend or provide solutions throughdesignated channels.
• To liaise with authority on any relevant rulesand regulationson raw materials.
• To produce new mix design based on customer specifications.
• To implement and monitor Quality Assurance Programme.
• To maintain and improve the quality of ready-mixed concrete supply and execute appropriate corrective action.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Architectural; Civil/ Structural Engineering or Concrete Materials related.
• Preference given to those with 2-3 years' experience as a QC manager in Singapore construction industry, especially in readymix concrete. Senior QC Engineer position will be considered if the candidate is familiar with the trade.
