The Project Coordinator/site engineer is responsible for coordinating projects of varying size and complexity or its parts. Project Coordinator is to make sure that the project runs smoothly by tracking project progress and timely communicating its status to management and project members, as well as making sure that project members communicate with each other.

Coordination can range from administration duties (maintenance of project documentation, plans and reports), directing and coordinating project work (assigning tasks, controlling schedule, updating risk/opportunity registers, schedule updates, financial updates, through engineering duties (materials, configuration management).

The candidates must be well trained in facade/aluminium work as we are doing aluminium or facade works' project.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Construction Manager (CM) / Project Manager (PM).
• Plan daily and weekly tasks for each section and coordinate with site foremen, supervisors, and workers on construction methods.
• Monitor work progress, ensuring quality workmanship in compliance with project and site requirements.
• Review drawings for discrepancies, buildability, revisions, and coordination issues.
• Maintain structural, part, and shop drawings, ensuring records are updated and registered.
• Implement project method statements and inspection/test plans.
• Track site progress, including piling activities, and provide regular updates to CM and PM.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain piling records according to inspection and contract documents.
• Verify the quality and quantity of subcontractor works completed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design and visualization software.
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, contract management, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with professionals for the building and maintenance of Formula One Race Track
• Monitoring of road levels, work out estimates for proposed work and putting up traffic control plan
• Carry out site measurements and prepare job measurements for ordering of required premix
• Planning and supervising of assigned project which includes night work as scheduled by LTA
• Manage race track construction team and adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Undertake risk assessments, deal with client, transport specialists and members of public
• Submit weekly progress report and attend monthly progress meeting
• Ensure machineries and equipment are always kept in good working condition
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
