About The Team

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) of Applied Machine Learning (AML) team combines system engineering and the art of machine learning to develop and run massively distributed recommendation system around the world.

On the SRE team, you'll have the opportunity to sharpen your expertise in coding, performance analysis and large system operation, and get heavily involved in the process of hardware/capacity decision-making.

SRE ensures that the very centric machine learning services at ByteDance have the highest level of availability, as well as creating highly automated systems and pipelines.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- Proven experience in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems.

- Prior experience designing and maintaining large-scale systems.

- Experience programming in at least one of the following languages: Python or C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong understanding of code optimizing and routine tasks automation.

- Proficiency in at least one machine learning framework: TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet or PaddlePaddle.

- Solid background of algorithms and data structures.

Job Description:

• To be responsible for the logistical, administrative and operational for construction project aspects, including liaise with customers for project requirements and progress;
• To plan the work sequence and manpower deployment require for the construction site works;
• Attend meetings, correspondences and liaise with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers in resolving design and site problems encountered during the construction period.
• To supervise workers and monitor sub-contractors at construction sites.
• To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials and consumables for our construction projects at construction sites;
• To ensure that construction projects are completed as per approved drawings within the required deadline and allocated budget;
• To take actions to resolve any delay/ technical issues/ difficulties that may arise on constructions sites;
• To ensure the works at construction sites carried out are complying with safe work procedures;
• To report to project team on work progress at construction sites;
• To prepare MOS and MSRA presentation for customer view;
• To be able to foresee the shortcomings of the project and discuss with team;

The Day Technician is responsible for Heat Treatment Daily Operations, support shift team on Grade Change Maintenance activities and Day shift Operations.

• In charge of day-to-day operation for Heat treatment unit to ensure quality, safety and production capacity are met according to production plan.
• Lead and support GCM transition activities for HT facility, and main operation in ensuring cleaning activities are done efficiently up to company operation standard before handing over to maintenance.
• Ensure any operational issues are communicated and followed by the maintenance team by working closely with maintenance contractor and coordinator.
• Support the shift team in multiple aspects of operation consisting of off-spec PVA blending, chemical loading/unloading, chemical preparation and GCM cleaning.

Site Administration Work (70%)

• Arrange technical advisors/supervisors’ logistics and including travel arrangements and control of visas, permits and Jurong island pass.

Job Summary: As the main contractor’s Safety Officer, you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant construction site. Responsibilities:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification recognized by MOM, with additional certifications in risk management, fire safety, first aid, being advantageous.
