Job Description:
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering category growth, aligning closely with the KrisShop brand's vision and mission. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing category sales, profit and loss, and ensuring a robust representation of brands and product assortments. You will be instrumental in nurturing brand partnerships and vendors through the strategic planning of brand campaigns and on-site activities. Vendor acquisition and adept management of vendors in operational processes, including vendor portals and internal documentation, are vital components of your role. Your ability to seamlessly handle operational and administrative tasks will be essential.
Responsibilities:
Β· Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
Β· Monitor stock movement of the respective categoryβs SKUs and ensure sufficient stocks across listing period, and plan exit strategies for poor performing SKUs
Β· Effectively manage the category, by consistently reviewing sales and profitability, with the introduction of new trendy brands and replacement of poor selling products
Β· Devising long-term development strategies for product categories
Β· Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
Β· Liaise with marketing teams and channels teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
Β· Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
Β· Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
Β· Manage the commercial negotiations for new brands within category and owns the onboarding process
Β· Creates joint business plans with brands to foster exclusive collaborations and drive sales and profitability
Requirements
1. Demonstrated 2-3 years of experience in vendor management within the ecommerce domain.
2. Proven track record of driving substantial sales growth within the ecommerce industry.
3. Proficiency in product listings on ecommerce platforms.
4. Familiarity with ecommerce seller management.
5. Strong business acumen, with the capability to derive actionable insights that fuel business expansion.
6. Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
7. A preference for meticulousness and proficiency in handling administrative tasks.
8. Outstanding time management skills and the capacity to multitask effectively.
9. An advantageous background in liquor and food will be considered a valuable asset.
