Social Media Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join the team of 20 colleagues at the foundation’s office in Lavender. As Social Media Manager, you will report to the Rule of Law Programme Asia’s Director, while independently planning, overseeing, and executing selected projects from our portfolio from ideation through to completion in the field of social media. You will interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and carry the sole responsibility of transparent budget planning and financial accounting of your projects.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualise (budget and content), plan, organize and implement the RLPA’s social media strategy
- Plan and implement local, regional, and overseas social media, web site and blog activities - including images/photos and texts - of the RLPA
- Coordinate the RLPA’s (internal and) external communications
- Initiate, develop, maintain and deepen meaningful collaborative relationships
- Advise concerning current developments in the respective policy fields
- Other related duties assigned by the Director
Requirements
- Academic education, at least a Master’s degree. Additional qualification in International Relations would be a plus
- 3-5 years of work experience in the area of social media and communications.
- Excellent English skills is required. In addition, knowledge of one or more Asian languages and ability to converse in German would be a plus.
- Intercultural competence to work in a diverse and multicultural environment is required
- Broad political knowledge about the region, in particular about the mechanisms in the area of digital governance and law
- Ability to travel on a regular basis
- Creativity, reliability, professionalism and the ability to work and communicate in a team
