This position reports directly to Delta MRO Manager. This position will be on-site at MRO locations performing HMV maintenance activities.

Day to day primary responsibilities include:
Review/negotiate solutions to issues related to cost, project timelines, work scope, compliance and safety. Ensures timely and cost effective strategic, analytical, and tactical support of day to day operational requirements. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Delta and FAA policies and procedures. This is a safety sensitive role which will require drug testing of the selected individuals. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Operations

• In charge of General Ledger including month-end/year-end accounts closing process.
• Supervise and review the work performed by Accounts Receivable/Payable officers.
• Provide guidance to Accounts Receivable/Payable officers.
• Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations and schedules ensuring that journal entries are recorded accurately and timely.
• Provide advice to teachers and staff on finance policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. MOE, banks, teachers, funding agencies etc.) on finance-related matters.

Financial Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting audit schedules.

• Coordinate with external auditors on annual audit exercise to ensure timely submission of audited financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to MOE.

Financial Budget

• Prepare annual revised forecast and annual budget in collaboration with the heads of department and school leaders.

Treasury and Banking matters

• Monitor cash flow and placement of fixed deposits.
• Perform administration duties related to banking (i.e. opening/closing of bank account, internet banking platform, corporate/virtual credit cards etc.).

Any Other Matters

• Maintain and communicate finance policies, procedures and guidelines.
