About This Role:-

Reporting to the Head of Application, you will engage in the software development lifecycle that shapes the AsiaNext exchanges. You will analyse requirements and design, implement, deliver and support the IT solutions of the exchanges. You should be passionate about Blockchain, Securities Trading and Digital Assets, and are able to translate business needs to applications that support digital exchanges ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and implement the IT solutions of AsiaNext exchanges. This includes APIs and smart contracts for connectivity with financial institutions and blockchains respectively.

• Participate in new project developments and be part of the developer team for AXS products including m-Station

Job Requirements

Your expertise:

• minimally 5+ years of experience of development, design and integration of mainframe solutions end to end and 3+ years working in the financial services industry
• proficient in working with COBOL/ zOS programming, DB2, CICS and JCL
• experienced with implementing CI/CD for mainframe and GitLab facilitated software delivery
• know-how/experience with Java and automation using Junit is added advantage
• understanding in webservices (SOAP/REST) and supported data structures such as XML, JSON
• good debugging and trouble shooting skills. Must have worked on IDEs i.e., IBM Debugger, IDz
