REQUIREMENTS:

(a) Degree/master’s in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

(b) Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in providing data warehouse or advanced analytics solutions.

(c) Experience with

• databases (e.g. Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, Teradata, Databricks)

• data repository design (e.g. operational data stores, dimensional data stores, data marts, datalakes)

• data interrogation techniques (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).

• structured and unstructured data analytics.

• statistical computing programming language (e.g. R, Python).

• data transformation and terminology equivalence mapping.

(d) Experience in data modelling for analytics (e.g. star schemas, snowflake schemas).

(e) Deep understanding of analytical models and methodologies – especially in the context of health analytics for clinical use and clinical safety (e.g. data mining, predictive analytics).

(f) Experience with data acquisition tools (e.g., ETL, real-time data capture, and change data capture).

(g) Thorough understanding of ML, data analysis, data visualization, and event-driven architecture.

(h) Exposure to the development, evolution and adherence to the architectures relevant to the domain.

(i) Ability to work with a wide variety of report generation software (e.g. Power BI, Tableau and OBIEE) and generate a wide variety of outputs (dashboards, scheduled reports).

(j) The ability to work towards strict and conflicting deadlines, be able to plan and prioritise in an environment with multiple stakeholders.

(k) Good interpersonal skills, a detail-oriented & flexible person who can work across different areas within the team.

(l) Familiarity or experience with health informatics would be preferred.

(m) An understanding of healthcare data governance, data acquisition and data management would be an advantage.

Cloud Exposure (AWS):

(a) Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS.

(b) Familiarity with modern cloud application architecture.

(c) Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Function as a Service, Containers, and managed databases.

(d) Experience with setting up load balancers, cloud networks, and virtual servers.

(e) Infrastructure as code (IAC): Cloud formation, terraform.

As a Partner SA and application modernization technology domain expert, you will work with partners to modernize customer’s application workloads from legacy applications to modern cloud native services like containers, serverless. As a partner Solutions Architect you’ll help build an ecosystem of partners for our application modernization services. This involves engaging with consulting and technology partners and their customers to integrate AWS services like Containers, serverless into their solutions and practices. In this hands-on technical specialist role, you will enable our partners to understand the best practices on application modernization, design the most suitable application architectures in different scenarios so they can deliver these solutions to customers. You will work in close collaboration with our partner management teams to help partners build and upskill on AWS application modernization services and choose AWS as their preferred platform for customer implementations. Shaping and delivering a strategy to accelerate use of AWS services in partner solutions, including Containers and Serverless is a key part of the role.

You will own the technical engagement with partners and their ultimate success. This includes solution design and architecture review to support customer opportunities and project implementations, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies. In this role, you will be highly collaborative working across a broad set of teams and managing stakeholders. You will act as voice of partners internally with AWS services and Global COE teams.

• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs.
• Nurture relationships with partners, enabling them to drive customer success leveraging AWS application modernization services.
• Act as a technical liaison between service engineering team, account teams and our partner community

Basic qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Technical Consultant, Software Architect, Software Engineering Lead.
• 5+ years of application design and development experience, application development and DevOps practices within an enterprise, customer-facing roles or within a leading consulting company or systems integrator.
• 5+ years hands on experience developing, managing or working with Containers, Serverless, and integration services technologies such as: ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, MQ, and/or Step Functions
• 5+ years of working with large-scale container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift, etc in production environments.
• Knowledge of IP networking, firewall and VPN architectures, service mesh, DNS, and service delivery through load balancing techniques.
• Effective collaboration skills with the ability to interact and influence CxO level executives

Preferred qualifications

• Effective verbal, written communications skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience designing, building, refactoring or operating large-scale Serverless or Containers delivery projects (either on premises or in the cloud) and/or experience in the industry as a leader in the fields of application development, agile delivery and DevOps.
