Job Objectives

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

This role will lead the solution architecture aspects of Data Analytics and Marketing Automation domain encompassing Marketing Automation and Campaign Management. Responsibilities include:

- Work closely with business partners to define technology solutions for business requirements/capability roadmap.

- Collaborate with technology peers and leaders to define the future architecture and application roadmap.

- Create/maintain principles, practices, and standards to get there. Influence leadership and staff to constantly move towards it. Monitor the adoption and efficacy of architectural standards and practices.

- Collaborate across the technology organization in ensuring execution plans are aligned with architecture and application roadmap.

- Drive change across the Marketing Automation and Data engineering teams via personal credibility and experience. Need to demonstrate empathy, continually balancing between autocracy vs. autonomy vs. anarchy around technology choices and change.

- Create awareness and buy-in amongst various stakeholders about architecture, design pattern, framework and new way of working. Needs to be able to act as a mentor/executor when required.

- Participate in and lead cross-bank technology initiatives.

- Functional knowledge of Retail bank, Wholesale, Global Markets, Finance, Risk and Compliance oriented products & business processes

- Familiarity with Marketing Automation and Analytics solutions and technologies like Adobe Campaign

Key Requirements:

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

· At least 10 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:

- Strong in defining end-to-end solution in real time and batch campaign management (across data sourcing, plan, design, execute, fulfil and measure)

o Data source integration and event sourcing

o Targeting and segmentation

o Campaign and offer eligibility and prioritization

o Channel integration and delivery

o Closed loop analysis and fulfilment initiation

o Request and approval process for the new campaigns/offers

- Good business domain knowledge in the Financial Services industry

- Complementing marketing automation platform with AI/ML based model integration

Technical Skills:

- Adobe Campaign for batch and real time. This should be based on hybrid solutions comprising both on-premises and cloud components

- Adobe Analytics (good to have)

- Unica Campaign, SAS Marketing Automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (good to have)

- Associated technologies for integration e.g. SMPP, Adobe SDK/API

- Associated technologies for customization e.g. Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, data modelling

As a Solution Architect, your role & responsibilities include:

1. Understanding and analysing stakeholder requirements

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand their business issues, needs and goals as well as clinical workflows to determine requirements and define the scope of a project.

2. Developing the compelling business case

• Adopt an analytical approach in developing innovative solutions to align with the enterprise architecture and fulfil the business requirements.
• Recommend adoption of new technologies and applications to initiate enhanced solutions.
• Analyse the impact of a solution on the overall organisation and business processes and systems to mitigate business risks.

3. Designing solutions architecture

• Lead the technical solution design and creation of architecture blueprints.
• Perform systems modelling, simulation, and analysis to ensure the soundness of the solution.
• Review prototypes, solution blueprints, and project scope to ensure that stakeholders’ needs are being met.
• Support the analysis of the functionality and constraints of recommended solutions, and the impact and changes required across multiple systems, platforms and applications.
• Support risk identification and development of risk mitigation strategies associated with the end-to-end solution.
• Foster continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve the design processes, models and approach.

4. Guiding solution implementation

• Work closely with the project teams to guide the solution during implementation.
• Drive compatibility, interoperability, stability and usability of recommended solution architecture.
• Provide the approach for testing non-functional requirements.
• Resolve technical integration issues.
• Develop technical roadmaps for continual modernization and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years as an architect, and at least 15 years of experience in implementing IT systems.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web based architectures, integration methods and strategies to support non-functional requirements such as resilience and performance.
• Skills and experience in health IT systems, HL7 and FHIR would be valuable, but not a must.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise that the ship is built according to specifications and approved plans
• Supervise that the ship is built for compliance with relevant IMO regulations, Rules and Regulations for the Classification and Regulations flag country
• Review technical and building specifications and plans for shipbuilding
• Quickly identify the cause of troubles that occurred during shipbuilding and establish proper solutions
• Take precautions to prevent troubles during shipbuilding
• Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, shipyard, designer, vendors, Classification society, and flag country for technical and procedural issues during shipbuilding
• Ensure quality, environment, health & safety requirements are met

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering
• Minimum fifteen(15) years of experience in either of four(4) major IACS Classification Society, ABS, Class NK, DNV or LR
• Proficiency in plan approval for hull structure in new construction projects of merchant ships the length of which is more than 200 metres (more than ten(10) different designs)
• Experience in plan approval for Zero-emission related works, such as; Carbon Capture and Storage system and Alternative fuel
• Experience in design review for novel design of hull structures, such as; Unusual hull form, proportion and structural arrangement
• Experience in structural strength assessment for sloshing in large tanks, such as; Cargo tanks (GTT MK III membrane system) of LNG tanker
• Experience in management as a member of the leadership team of the Classification Society in any country.
• Good knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Classification of Ship, IMO International conventions and codes etc. with experience in the development and maintenance of the Rules
• Good knowledge of innovative technology in the marine industry, such as; Wind-Assisted Propulsion System
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive troubleshooting/finding root cause during shipbuilding

• Possess a recognized diploma/degree in Architecture with at least ten years of relevant construction experience.
• Being registered with Singapore Board of Architects would be an advantage.
• Lead architecture design and execution throughout the project cycle.
• Ensure project is built according to design plans and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure that the building plan meet the necessary building codes and regulations.
• Ensure key deadlines are met.
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices.
• Competency in authority requirements and submission procedures.

Role & Responsibilities:

At least 5 years of relevant working experience in full stack software development.

Hands-on technical skills and competency in the following:

At least one of these programming languages: Java, C# (.NET Core), Python (3.xx), Typescript.

Any database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with NodeJs, React or Angular is a plus.

Familiar with developing Cloud based applications using AWS stack.

Possess good understanding and relevant experience in developing enterprise applications using Object Oriented Programming.

Experience in methodologies such as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/Agile Scrum, Kanban, or any DevOps frameworks.

Good team player who is keen to learn, independent, and with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Passionate in understanding business requirements and use technology to transform or improve current state.

Familiar with and interested to learn about current and emerging technology landscapes.
