Key Responsibilities:

As the Technical Architect for the OutSystems platform, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of an enterprise-grade OutSystems application. You will work in close collaboration with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Government stakeholders to deliver a robust and scalable solution. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Architectural Design & Oversight:
   Lead the design and development of the technical architecture for OutSystems applications, ensuring alignment with the project goals and compliance with relevant Government standards.
2. Environment Setup & Management:
   Oversee the installation, configuration, and performance tuning of OutSystems environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, ensuring they are optimized for stability, security, and scalability.
3. Project Delivery & Milestones:
   Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure technical deliverables meet project milestones, deadlines, and quality standards.
4. Collaboration with Solution Architect:
   Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure the technical design is consistent with the overall solution architecture, supporting key architectural decisions.
5. Platform Upgrades:
   Lead the planning and execution of at least one full platform version upgrade for OutSystems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a seamless transition for users.
6. Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing:
   Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
7. Stakeholder Engagement:
   Engage with Government stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications. Ensure technical solutions align with project expectations and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years working with OutSystems, with a strong background in technical architecture, system design, and enterprise-level application development.
• Proven track record of leading OutSystems projects, ideally in the Public Sector or Government domain.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with OutSystems architecture, including installations and configuration in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining applications and environments using OutSystems LifeTime.
• Demonstrated ability to lead platform version upgrades for OutSystems applications.
• Deep understanding of best practices in scalability, performance optimization, and security for OutSystems applications.

Certifications & Education:

• OutSystems certification is highly preferred.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage.

Industry Knowledge:

• Prior experience working on Government projects or within the Public Sector is preferred, with a focus on compliance, security, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards in Government projects is a plus.

As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role within the engineering team by designing, optimizing, and delivering scalable and efficient solutions. You will collaborate with development, application, and production teams to ensure high-quality, stable, and innovative architecture across cloud platforms.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Optimize resource usage of solutions on internal cloud platforms.
• Consult on building, deploying, and orchestrating containers using Kubernetes.
• Provide expertise and operational support for the Kafka platform.
• Conduct studies and POCs to establish production principles for new cloud services.
• Design, deliver, and maintain architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and standards aligned with group policies.
• Communicate architectural directions and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Candidate Requirements:

• 7+ years of IT experience with expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and high availability systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Proactive, self-driven, and user-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and APIGEE.
• Cloud or Kubernetes certifications is an advantage.
• Familiarity with private banking or asset management has an advantage

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in large scale civil infrastructure projects. They are seeking for a Project Architect to manage LTA project.

• Leading in resolving construction and technical issues on drawings
• Attend meetings, conduct site inspection on work progress and detect design errors and drawing discrepancies
• Propose solutions to technical problems
• Preparing design brief (timeline, process control, quality control)
• Liaise with internal (senior management / architects team / quantity surveyors) and external stakeholders (client / sub-contractor / authority etc) to ensure the work fulfil the requirement in terms of functionality and operationality.
• Monitor the design development and mitigate any project risks
• Assist in tender quality plan for submission including scheduling, drawing, preparing method statement, innovative ideas, value engineering proposal etc
• Supervising drafting and modelling works
• Obtain technical clearance to client and sub-contractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Possesses at least 10 years of architectural experience including LTA projects
• Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
• Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team
