• Responsible to manage operational activities in relating to automation and automation platform

Responsibilities:

• Understand the automation specifics and concepts in day-to-day service delivery and operations in IT Managed Services
• Build and maintain automation runbook or playbook or cookbook using some of these automation technologies such as ansible, python, PowerShell, Chef (ruby) Terraform (HCL), groovy, JavaScript, and other scripting languages
• Operationalize and manage automation development to improve productivity
• Knowledge in developing automated scripts to test automation playbooks before operationalization
• Good understanding of code control and versioning of Infra-as-code (IaC)
• Good to know integration with tools such as ITSM and etc

Job Responsibilities:

• Review of contractual documents and technical specifications
• To assist the Senior Project Engineer/Manager to conduct kick-off, pre-project/project meetings to ensure team members are clear on the objectives, deliverables, quality, lead-time, complexities and carry out the project execution and contingency plan, if any
• Plan and assist Senior Engineer/Manager to monitor the daily progress of activities to achieve on or before schedule, ie. By comparing the planned vs actual progress status, identify critical activities, improvements and/or contingency plans if any
• Attend site meetings, interacting with clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and representing them to the team
• Work together with clients and translate their requirements into an actionable plan with the team
• Work closely and communicate effectively with project manager and/or other project team members to create and deliver quality solutions for the clients
• Liaise with stake holders/vendors to ensure project meet the requirements, specifications and achieve within schedule as per the plan
• Coordinate and liaise with Classification bodies as project specifications for inspections and surveys when required
• Involve in technical meetings and assist in preparation of documents for submission
• Furnish drawings and documentations/reports to clients as requested
• Assist in resolving engineering/ technical issues, coordinating with the respective engineering support units
• Plan, execute, monitor on the work progress based on project timeline and budget
• Keep track of project status, prepare and submit weekly/monthly progress reports as require
• Assure all deadlines are met
• Responsible to run the operations of projects as assigned
• Preparation of documents as and when required, such as progress data, hand over status, close-out reports etc
• Ensure final acceptance of the project by client in accordance with contractual requirements
• Carry out other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior or higher management.

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering or its equivalent
• Min 3 -5 years of working experience, with relevant experience in Marine/Offshore

The Job

• Subject matter expert for Linux, Solaris, Oracle Linux and Oracle Web Logic
• Provide level 2 & 3 technical support to ensure due fulfilment of service level
• Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree qualification in Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering of relevant experience
• Strong technical background with minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in administering and security hardening of Linix and Solaris etc.
• Strong experience in the administration of Weblogic Application Server and software rollout.
• Strong experience in the administration of RedHat and Oracle suite of products.
• Possess good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural/Materials) recognised by PEB.
• Fresh Graduate or 2 years of related working experience in Precast Concrete/ Building Structural Design/automation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and design analysis software
• Knowledge of automation will be advantageous•Must be able to speak and write English.

Responsibilities

· Support various assigned Mechanical packages in relation to the Project

· Assist in data sheets, specs submissions, to ensure that they are in accordance with the technical requirements and contracted guidelines

· These include rotating and static equipment packages
