Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Testing Engineer and Capacity Planner with 5-10 years of industry expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our systems and applications adhere to stringent performance and scalability benchmarks. This role demands a deep understanding of performance testing methodologies, capacity planning strategies, and the ability to conduct in-depth performance analysis and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Testing: Architect, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans and scenarios to validate system performance against defined benchmarks.
Bottleneck Identification: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks across the application stack.
Capacity Planning: Perform detailed capacity planning to ensure that systems can handle anticipated load and provide data-driven recommendations for scaling.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to integrate performance testing seamlessly into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Results Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of performance test results and generate detailed reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring: Implement and utilize application performance monitoring (APM) tools to proactively identify and resolve potential performance issues.
Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad.
AI and GENAI Integration with Performance Testing and Predictive Analysis:
We are seeking a professional to lead AI and GENAI integration with performance testing and predictive analysis. The role involves leveraging predictive analytics to derive valuable insights, with a strong emphasis on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of these insights through high-quality data and robust algorithms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining reliable predictive models, addressing the continuous challenges that arise in this dynamic field.
Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on performance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Best Practices: Define and enforce best practices for performance testing, load testing, stress testing, and capacity planning across the organization.
Industry Trends: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in performance testing and capacity planning.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
