Samsung Electronics Device Solutions is a global leader in Semiconductor industry.
Our regional Sales and Marketing office is looking for a talented technical professional to join us as a Field Application Engineer for the Large Scale Integration (LSI) team. The incumbent will be main contact window with our Headquarters team in Korea for our sales office in Singapore office and ASEAN countries. Incumbent be responsible in providing advisory, technical solutions and leadership to the customers and various stakeholders. Using his/her technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying in the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation, new business identification and future opportunities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to understand and resolve technical and quality related issues.
· Maintain awareness of and communicate internally to Device Solutions Regional
and HQ Product & Engineering teams regarding major technical issues and update
· Conduct regular training to the relevant personnel in terms of technical and product knowledge.
· Gathering technical requirements / specification from customers through close partnership with Sales & Marketing team members.
· Providing support to the sales team and customers for all technical enquiries such as technical presentations regarding product strategy and roadmaps, features, industry technology and competitive positioning
· Ensure smooth operation of quality support for LSI products (Smartcard,CMOS Image Sensors, IOT)
Experience :
- At least 5 years' experience in Field Application Engineering / or Technical support Management in Industrial Electronics or Semiconductor industry.
- Direct Experiences in Smart Card Segment ( e.g banking certification requirement/RFID trouble shooting matters or Camera Image sensors related
industry will be an added advantage.
- Experiences in customer project design-in (understanding of customers design flow) and follow up in failure analysis issues (from self managing minor problems to co-working on complex issues with HQ team) will be added advantage
